Has anyone tried promoting CPA offers door to door? (actually speaking to people as opposed to dropping off flyers)

Depending on the pay-out of the offer, it may be worth a try. I think email submits would be a waste of time though. Sorry, that's not really an answer to your question. ![]() |

Well if its something like Pay per sale... Then you can make some big bucks .. I would print out some little cards saying whatever your promoting and stick them on doors leaving a link to the website or something... and See if they buy? |

Maybe if its CPS, but your taking a chance of the advertiser not paying your network due to IP's being so close if its leads. I would definitely notify your network before trying this.

Yep like Jeff said the email submits are a complete waste of time. Now Netflix or family oriented offers for the home can sell like candy if you have a good sales pitch or flyer. CHAD | |

Coming from a sales background I will advise door to door is a very difficult sell no matter how good your product/offer is. First you have to overcome the fact that you're a salesman, at their door, invading their personal space, interrupting their time, trying to sell them something. And after all that there is no way to specifically target customers door to door. It can be extremely time consuming if it's not an area you have experience in, once you have a solid presentation down and you get extremely good at it and understand the subtleties of the job, then it can be extremely rewarding and lucrative. As others have said though, the whole process is very time consuming, 1. to physically do the rounds and visit every house in an area and 2. The time to acquire the skill and subtleties of door to door selling. Most of us here started IM so we don't have to work so many hours, so we can be independent and create passive income, that is where true wealth lies. If you want to get good at door to door then I advise working for a direct sales company who will not only (hopefully) pay you a basic wage but you will be able to learn directly from more experienced guys in the field. Personally it's a bloody tough job and there are far more effective ways (online and offline) to gain targeted traffic. |

Is that worth your time? Maybe you should know how much is your time worth ?? SO balance your time with revenue. If you spent 8 hours walking door to door and make $40 of the day, then it works out to be $5/hour If it works out to be $5/hour, better start looking a job in McDonald |

Not sure about this method (you would have to use a generic zip/email submit), but got an email from Philip Mansour once about setting up in the mall and getting signups for beauty CPA offers. This was a while ago though and not sure if it's even viable. But it's an interesting concept that could be tweaked.

Let me rephrase a little. With a little greyhat I would suggest making flyers and just leaving them on the front porch. Netflix Same can be applied to gamefly in upper-scale neighborhoods For Example, Hit up trailer parks (EASY MONEY) Make a flyer that says save 90% of your cable bill and still watch all the shows you want. Free movies. Visit www.yourwebsite or call xxx-xxx-xxxx Trust me it works and it works well. CHAD |

If you're a good salesman and can "spit good game" then its probably better to just cold call people. It's less travelling and a bit easier when you're not standing face to face with an uninterested (or sometimes even angry) person. Otherwise, leaving signs and flyers everywhere can work pretty well with big brand or general offers. |

I think going to businesses or office might work. I can tell you that I won't open my door except for girl scouts. It's just the way things are now. It's sad as I remember going house to house selling stuff as a kid. I think door knob flyers are an idea but you'd really have to target your demographic. |

Blisteringroi is right, the close IP addresses will definitely raise some issues. You must contact your network to avoid any hassle. Good luck though, let us all know how it works out.
