hi everyone, i hope someone here can help me. I got a fun website, with jokes, quotes, videos, tips etc, that is getting a decent amount of traffi: 2000-3000 unique visitors per day, 6000-7000 pageviews per day, 92% us visitors, 79% bounce rate (0-30 seconds).

I have tried adsense on it, making 2-3$ per day.
I have tried infinityads popunders, maing around 2$ per day.
I have just signed up to commission junction, put 3 banners on it for a week with 0 conversions..

To be honest, id rather leave it without ANY ads on it, rather than making 'just' 2-3$ per day..

Any tips from you experts on how to moneytize a fun site like this? Can you recommend any specific offers, like bid/auction offers or online dating offers that would work for this kind of fun site? (i just had a look on offervault.com and these kind of offers seem to pay well..)

I would advice that test multiple CPA offers that appeal to a wide audience .

You should also be aware that positioning of your ads is very important .

It is also advisable that you have a clean theme of your site , if you really want to get good conversion .

I think the best thing would be to check offervault for "game" type CPA offers they pay well and usually the user just signs up to play something online etc...and put a few of their banners on your site.

It may even be worth creating a whole new landing page on your site promoting such a CPA offer...then direct visitors from your site to this landing page...

If you have something really unique to offer your visitors...maybe a secret area...or a download...etc etc...put up a content locker gateway such as CPALEAD or adsensd media...this way the visitor has to complete a free offer to access the unique content...

why not try content locking from Blam , CPalead or ascend media?

if you still cant get anything out of it, try some CPA that match your site's demographics

thanks guys, good info already i dont think sharing the site would be such a great idea, but please pm and maybe i can pm the url (i dont know if the system will allow me to do that. I just applied to cpalead today, so i will have to wait and see if they take me.
the ads on my site are VERY prominent, first thing you see on the top of every page, above the fold, below the title. I did get 40-50 clicks per day from adsense but clicks where too often 2 cents, 5 cents so pretty disheartening..
The offer im using right now is from this site gamehouse com. i can see why it doesnt convert though, it asks for creditcard details for a 'free' game..

content locking probably wont work (i think), as my content is not indispensible, you can pretty much google what you need..

soo.. any SPECIFIC offers that have worked for you guys? (that appeals to a broad range of people)

in the meantime, ive found a free online dating site on cj.com that pays 2-3$ per lead, so am giving that a shot for a few days...

Try different Ad-positioning. It matters on the layout of your site and also the way Ads are displayed

If your using ads, you may wish to try and target your ads to the kind of audience that is visiting your website. It may even be a good idea to start some polls (a clear place where the audience can see) to what they are interested in.

Do some research, and target the audience yourself with ads instead of google ads letting them pick recommendations for you. Your getting a lot of visitors so you should be able to transfer that into a decent income
