Default What are Your Biggest Issues When Running Email Submits?

I've identified a couple of big problems myself. For example, a lot of email submits scrub (or don't count) the lead (conversion) you provide for them. They will find absolutely any reason in the world to not count your lead so they don't have to pay you.

For example, did you know that the majority of email submit offer advertisors don't even count yahoo emails for you if that's the email you collect for them? This is because its difficult for them to market to people who have yahoo emails because of yahoo email policies and their terms of service.

Anyway, that's the main problem I've identified. I was just interested in what other problems marketing warriors have experienced while running email submits.

This is because I am an advertisor (new) for email submits, but don't want to indulge in these same types of business practices. I honestly just think they are unethical and are hurtful to a business in the long run.

So feel free to post your thoughts and opinions here, I'd love to hear them so that I can eventually develop email submit offers that are both good for me and more importantly, the clients (affiliate marketers) who market them for me.

I know am I brand new to this forum, but it's just because I was not aware of it earlier. Luckily, a freind mentioned it to me and said I should sign up because a lot the main talent in the affiliate marketing industry resides in this forum. Just from browsing around a bit, I can see they were not exagerating in the least. There is so much valuable informaition here; it kind of blows my mind, haha.

Well, I'm considering starting a network that specializes in email submits where no lead will ever be scrubbed for any reason.

I will also allow you to create your own offer to run if you come to me with a good idea. I'll just build it for you and let you run it.

Is this something you guys would be interested in?

Well email submits MUST be scrubbed, due to ****ty traffic and fraudsters.

Not to say that the email-submit advertisers don't play a big role in that "shady" activity themselves, because they do and they know it!

BUT... if a business paid YOU to send them leads and they NEVER got a sale from any of them, do you think they would continue to pay you for bunk leads? Especially if they already had a proven sales funnel in place.

When sales aren't happening on the back-end, something's gotta give. That's one reason I've never been a big fan of these offers.

I was curious about email submits to experience it,I registered to one offer by my self and check.Damme They started to send 10 emails or more than a day with offers.but most of them ended up in my spam box thanks to google.They even sent me other popular offers from my network also.It seems these guys selling our mails to somebody or they send 1000 of emails till we buy something.

I decided to not to do email submits.But its profitable i know.

Wow. I'm pretty impressed with this response honestly. Yes, these are problems advertisers have. This is because they aren't that skilled (the majority, at least) at monetizing the back end. Especially when they are getting a lot of "bunk" leads. However, I believe this is THEIR responsibility, not YOURS. They agreed to pay you per lead, and regardless of the reason, they should hold up on their end of the deal or shut their operation down.

You also made me think of a reason I would potentially scrub (not count) a lead. If that email (lead) had already been given to me. I mean, I can't monetize the same email (person) twice. That is of no value to me, you know? So that would be one scenario I could think of where I would not be able to accept and pay someone for a lead given to me.

Also, I'm pretty confident in my ability to monetize even "bunk" leads. But also, to help solve this problem, members of my potential network would be trained to find the highest quality leads without sacrificing the volume needed for them to be profitable.

The people who indulge in business practices like that are failures. People who do business like that are in it for the short term cash. Their inability to think in terms of the long run will inevitably lead to their eventual failure in the business world.

This is in no way how my business will be run in any way shape or form. Period.

If more advertisers had that same mindset that you seem to have, then the industry wouldn't have such a bad name attached to it.

You're exactly right, they have a hard time to monetize their back-ends because the majority consistently SPAM people with offers. We all know people HATE email spam.

Maybe you should create your own offer, and start changing the standards. Affiliates could always use more "quality" offers to promote.

See thats the thing. I already have my own offers, I just run them myself. Then I hear all the people I network with in the industry complain about how email submits scrub and are so shady.

Then a lightbulb kind of went off in my head and I thought I could potentially create a network that specialized in my own email submits that I have created that don't indulge in bad business practice. Then I was told by my contacts and people I network with to come here to find the best and brightest minds in the industry. So here I am, haha.

And you're right. "If more advertisers had that same mindset that you seem to have, then the industry wouldn't have such a bad name attached to it. " I believe this as well. My overal business goal is to change this just as you stated it.

I have ideas and ways to possibly do it, but those ideas are for the future when I am more experienced and have more capital to invest in such a business venture.

It's a trade off between high scrub rates vs other types of offers that require more info than many are willing to enter. Since I only run CPA offers with the philosophy of it being supplemental to my main "day job" income, I take what I get with the email submits.

A couple of days ago I got a nice $4 commission from an Arab ringtone offer (much more than email submit) that I never ran, but replaced a U.S. email submit offer. In general, my experience has been stick with the email submits, but to each his own.

Well, what would you consider "low rates" and "high rates." In my mind, when running offers through companies like that the payout doesn't matter much (if at all) because there business strategy isn't based around pay you per lead you generate. Because of this, the payout you receive usually means very little. It's more based on how many leads they decided to pay you for...

But anyway, still interested to hear what good and bad rates are from some of the community.

I agree you are right that pay-out doesn't matter really. It's generally 10x easier to get a conversion for $1 than for $6.

The big problem comes from when you get half of the leads taken away from you, because THEY can't convert their backend.

scrubba-dub-dubs. If you can make a landing page to get the leads for yourself also, you have a chance of promoting offers to those opt-ins in the future on an email list where you mail offers similar to the vertical that they signed up for. It's a nice way to get around the scrubbing and try to recover the losses you're taking from it.
