Default CJ.com - anyone use?

So I haven't really seen a lot of talk about Commission Junction. Do you use it? Do you like it? If you don't use it, why don't you like it?

I currently use them and Clickbank.com and I am just getting started so I am not sure what other affiliate sites I should be using. Thanks everyone!

Hi Shay,

You are on the right track friend. Cj.com is one of the best affiliate program I ever seen. They are honest and have the reputation for on time payment. I have been working with them since 2008 and no bad experience till now. So go ahead my friend.

Thanks,
Abhijit...

I just wanted to say that these two affiliate programs are different in terms of product they provide.
Clickbank specializes in e-products, basically products that are not physical but rather e-books, softwares etc.
CJ on the other hand provides its affiliate with offers from web stores and such most of which offer tangible products, like clothes, covers etc., as well as some services.

As far as I know both of them are honest and have a good reputation, but depending on your style you can work with either one of them or even both.

Good luck.

I personally do not use CJ (I am sure they are great) simply because I find it hards to navigate around their site and find the kind of offers I promote. Just a preference.

In other words, is not as friendly user as neverblue, maxbounty or Peerfly (among others)

CJ is not really great for CPA offers. They have some, but most of their offers are CPS ( cost per sale ).

CJ is more for offers with big brands behind them and usually CPS.

They have a good rep and I have used them in the past, but I don't like having to wait to be approved every time I want to run a new offer, so I don't really use them much.

They work with important companies, in general the offers are not Cost per Action.

One thing to remember is that you have to be approved for every offer by the advertiser, and if you want to promote the most popular offers it may be difficult to get approved if you are not from the USA, Canada or the UK.

Both are great companies.

CJ: they concentrate on physical products.

ClickBank: they only sell digital products.

I have used it. I have not made a lot of money with it but I liked it. Comparing to Clickbank it is really easy to use and easy to generate necessary reports. On the other hand Clickbank seems to be better when it comes to digital products.

MaxBounty is one I use also with some pretty awesome success. Due to affiliate fraud though, a ton of companies are going back to the inhouse thing.
I would definately get into MaxBounty though.
Since you're just starting out, I'd consider grabbing your favorite hobby and searching affiliate programs for it (i.e. fly fishing affiliate program)
My favorite CPA site was Azoogle, however the good offers are all private and a ton of offers are just going away period.

As far as CJ, I was an affiliate there for sometime anjd left with their most recent policy changes as I wasn't fond of them (new policies). Also, it was a pain getting in touch with someone who could intelligently answer a question without being transfered 90 times.

I use clickbank to sell most of my e-products. Recently i tried to check CJ to start my cpa marketing, while waiting to be approved in other cpa networks.

CJ is more likely a CPS network in my niche, so I gave up on it.

Is CJ their own merchant/gateway like CB (you pay through their site)?

Thank you all for this information. I am still learning the difference between CPA, CPS, etc and I will be looking for something that is CPA to add as well. Thank you all for your help, this is definitely helping to point me in the right direction.

CJ is great for media buys and display marketing. Look on the internet, see what the big guys are advertising using display ads and copy using CJ Network advertisers. I do this all the time.

CJ is only one network have very big list of CPA/CPL. They are also fresher friendly.
They have a process of all things. I have 11 points out of 10 for CJ.

I signed up with cj.com but two of the four advertisers I've applied for declined me. So, not happy about that, but they seem to be a solid company. There is alot of CPS versus CPA. I'm waiting to hear back from Peerfly, hopefully I can get in with them.
