Hi guys hope I've posted this in the right place I have been running ppv campaigns through max bounty and media traffic. However I have found that my conversions are not being picked up by tracking 202. Everything else is in order, I’m getting keyword data it’s just the conversions that I’m not getting. I’ll run through what I’m doing and if any one could point out any mistakes it would be much appreciated. (please not I removed the http/www and seperated out the links so I can put them on this forum, this was not the way they went into my campaigns) So I take the max bounty contextual link and place it into tracking 202 affiliate url in exactly the form. mb01. com/lnk.asp?o=4246&c=918271&a=87572&s1= I then generate my direct linked tracking code in tracking202 which is this redirect.tracking202. com/dl/12211078?t202kw= I place this into the destinations tab in media traffic and tick the target pass through tab. I also generate a global postback URL in tracking202 which looks like this static.tracking202. com/gpb/r1hbv46426dtlfz?subid= I then add an S1 to the end to get static.tracking202. com/gpb/r1hbv46426dtlfz?subid=S1 I then insert this back into my maxbounty Callback Pixel/URL tab and save. So as I said when I do the above my I have keyword tracking but none of my leads are tracked. Ive tried manually taking the subid reports from maxbounty and inserting them into tracking 202 but this makes virtually all my clicks appear as conversions. So a number of questions. Is the above all correct? Could the problem with conversions be that I clicked the pass through tab as well as using the global postback URL? Is it just a fault of the tracking202 software and will using prosper202 fix the problem? Any feedback would be greatly interested I tried my affiliate manager and after about two days of waiting for him to get back to me he just told me to read the tracking202 website so I’ve of run out of options. Thanks |

I think that on your redirect link, you need to put the "keyword" variable from t202 in there at the end. It looks like right now you're not passing it through to t202. |

I think PPC-Coach is right, by the sounds of it, variables aren't being passed into p202, which will give no results.. also maybe check out the p202 support forums, they are normally pretty good with helping people

Thanks for the swift reply guys. Im still a little confused, should I have something additional in my original max bounty link that goes into tracking 202 and that will cause 202 to automatically appends something onto the kw= of the 202 redirect link.

Hi rubbra, Could you please check your subid report on Maxbounty? Just go to Reports > Sub-ID report from the drop down menu. If you see Nr's then you are doing fine. |

| It should still work without the keyword variable though. That is just something ad networks are supposed to pass.

Hi Mahmoud. Yer my subid reports are full of numbers. I have tried previously inserting them manually into tracking 202 however this totally screwed up the tracking and was showing up a almost every click was leading to a conversion. So what do you guys suggest I do next. Is it possible to fix the problem? Ive read somewhere that for my max bounty link I should write 'Subid' or [[Subid]] on the end after the equals sign. Ive also read that I could put {keyword} at the end of the 202 redirect link. Should I do this? |

It really dont matter which subid you are using on Maxbounty, the only thing you need there is the &s1= part after your affiliate id then you can add what works for your PPC-PPV networks. Some networks track with the [keyword] after your tracking202 link and some with {keyword} after your tracking202 link so there you should search. As ChrisBa said just drop a question on the tracking202 forum or ask your PPV networks about which variable works while tracking with tracking202. Good Luck |
