I've been looking into AdWare networks and found that its much cheaper to buy keywords on there than it is of course to buy them with Google. I was wondering however, is CPA the BEST way to benefit from these AdWare networks? The only reason I ask is because MediaTraffic for example charges $0.02 PPV, which for a thousand views would be $20 (but no advertising sites pay $20 CPM)... so I'm guessing the best way to monetize using these sites would be to start a website that's based mostly off of affiliate marketing so you can be paid for CPA. CPA networks are hard to get accepted into however, so would using persay HostGator's affiliate program be acceptable with Adware Networks?

I would say join a network or two for offers. Most of the offers that we even have allow PPV Traffic. PPV traffic is great for a lot of cpa offers. Cash Advance, Email Zip Submits, Biz Opps; you can find a ton of success with PPV Traffic. You just need to really learn who your audience is. I would do that though instead of joining HostGator's affiliate program only. Not all CPA networks are hard to get into either. Apply to a couple, explain your strategies and what you intend to do and see who accepts you. If your interested in other affiliate programs outside of CPA, then you would find Commission Junction helpful.

PPV Traffic can be extremely effective source of traffic for CPA offers although it does have a steep learning curve. Once mastered and you have an optimised campaign then traffic can be cheap and it can be extremely lucrative, however as you've stated 0.02 CPV means a $20 CPM which is unheard of in any other form of paid traffic, particularly as you pay regardless of whether the viewer clicks throughor not. If you do decide to go down the PPV route then you will need to get into a CPA network to make it really beneficial. Whilst hostgator have a great affiliate platform and offer great commissions it is not the type of product that is suited for PPV. remember PPV is interruption marketing and you need to be able to convince someone through your ad to stop whatever they are doing and click through, it is unlikely, no matter how good your copy is, that you will be able to convince someone that they need hosting RIGHT NOW. |

By adware, do you mean CPV/PPV? If so you can definitely make money with this but it is not easier than PPC, it is just a different way to do things

Ya you can definitely make a killing with ppv marketing. The main thing that is different is just knowing how to find your target URL's and target keywords. Conduct some testings between the two. Usually you'll find out that the target keywords usually perform better with "certain" types of niches. But you have to know how to find your targets.
