Hey, I've run into a bit of a roadblock when running a Yahoo Search Marketing campaign. The 3 fields that Yahoo tells me to fill in when writing my ads are: Title: Description: URL: The question is: How to "direct link" in YSM??? without buying a domain and redirecting. Any suggestions? |

Yeah you need to have your own redirect or use a site such as tinyurl however that wont look so good as a url under an ad. I'd suggest going all out and getting a $9 domain name from namecheap and using their redirect service.

Go into your account settings and change the domain you originally registered to the one you want to direct link to. Then change if you want to direct link to another product. When I did this the ads display url would be the account site url I had at the time so all I needed to do was have the destination url as my affiliate link. Even when you change your account url it doesn't change any previous display urls you made with the older ads in your account, it keeps the display url as whatever your account site url was at that time. |
