Hi, I own a product, which is a brand of it's own. The brandname partially describes what the product does. On adwords I've tested two ads. If it had been for a brand of land mowers that were specialized for pink grass, it could be been something like this: 1: Headline: Grass Land Mowers: Description: Mow your pink grass with this widget. CTR: Eg. 0,6%. 2: Headline: Pink Grass Land Mowing Description: Same as ad 1. CTR: Eg. 1,0%. Number 2 gives me a better CTR, but no matter which ad I use, I reach the limit of my budgets. Thus it has no impact on the number of clicks. As I see it, number 1 gives me some branding, but is it worth it? Do you think ad 2 gives me more targeted visitors, because of the headline? This on the other hand costs me the 'branding' value of having my company name in the headline (if this gives me any value?). The description is the same for the two ads. Any thoughts? Thanks. Best regards, Thomas |

I'd go with the higher CTR. Having your product name in your domain will help with branding, though. |

Thanks for the replies. Actually, the domain name is the company name. Why would you go with higher CTR? Thanks. Best regards, Thomas |

Good point, ChrisBa. Actually, I'm doing that at the moment, but wanted to hear if anybody had any experience. Especially since 'branding' can be a bit hard to measure. Thanks. Best regards, Thomas |
