Offline cpa methods?

So i want to try offline also - i was thinking how you work with leaflets etc?

do you print some out saying

"Win and iPad"

but where do you direct them? to a website or make them email u and direct link them?

The very LAST thing you want to do is print out flyers saying "Win an IPad!", unless you want to burn money on flyers.

You have to think of way more creative ideas than that, and like the other guy said areevez pretty much has that aspect nailed. You should read all his posts and that will give you a good idea how you should approach things.

Direct them to your own website, it looks my legitimate than simply an email and your readers can then make an informed choice i.e. you have the opportunity to presell them and increase conversions.

If you're looking to build a list then do that on your site too as opposed to asking them to email direct.

Think about it, would you simply respond to an ad that had just an email and no other source of info???

You want to send them to a site or directly with a related domain (example: Walmart email submit - send them to WalmartPromo.com) Make sure your site converts online first before going offline. Once you know your site is converting you can then move to offline.

I just ordered Business Cards with free offers on them. My web site targets only local community, so it's pointless for me to advertise online.

Offline is risky unless you know what you're doing. I would try online first. Atleast to see if it converts efficiently.

It is un-tapped, but you have to choose the offers wisely. You don't have any of the targeting options like you do online. Your conversion percentages will not nearly be the same.

If anything, you've got to choose a very BROAD offer that will appeal to anyone and everyone. For instance, Lovefilm?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there is a very popular movie service similar to Netflix in the UK. Not sure if that is exactly the name of the offer, but you get the point.

Just think of it like any other traffic source - you need to direct them to a webpage, for this you will need your own domain and hosting (it would be silly to not do this), then from the domain you direct them to, you can either have a landing page, collect emails or send directly to an offer

Must be targeted, offers for college students is good. Also target stores with offers that are related, promote best buy gift card offer at best buy, etc

Offers for college students can be good IF you can make it past the swarms of security guards, and the administration constantly pulling down your fliers off posts.

As areevez mentioned, loitering flyers in Best Buy or Walmart parking lots is a no-go. As soon as you are spotted they will instantly kick you off the premises.

In my personal opinion, trying to get email conversions by using flyering is a pure waste of time. If you want to make it worth something than you should at least try an offer that pays $15 or more.
