So I just set up a CPC campaign to market one of my CPA offers and am tracking it through tracker202. Still waiting to get verified by Clicksor (just gotta send in the form), but I was wondering if someone could explain the CPC bids thing to me. I set a maximum bid of $0.25 per keyword but I saw that other bids were higher. What does that mean in terms of how my ad will be displayed?

| What is a maximum CPC? Your maximum cost-per-click (CPC) is the highest amount that you are willing to pay for a click on your ad. When ads appear on the Search Network, the maximum CPC is one of the factors affecting ad position. Increasing your maximum CPC can improve the position of your ad. When ads appear on the Display Network, the maximum CPC is a key factor in determining whether your ad is placed on your targeted placements. Again, increasing your maximum CPC can improve the chances that your ad will appear. |

Ok, if you choose to promote your campaign all around the world, and somebody else are using same keyword for his campaign + has a bigger budget, Then your campaign should be promoted only in places with no marketing for your keyword. Its simple, just open Google, type your keyword, or other, hit Search, and youll see paid Ads, First Place means Owner Pays max. $ for that keyword.... Here are a lot of tricks, Go to Google, and find about Adwords, read and you'll understand how to Start your campaing and to lower your Bid. Sometimes, you can pay $2 for your keyword, and you'll be on second spot, but First spot will pay for same keyword for. ex: $0.50, because the campaign is build right. Save your money, reading first about CPC, you can save a lot... Thanks Greg |

Yes, but Clicksor is a PPC network not like AdWords, it doesn't display the ads on search engines but instead on people's websites... so what does that mean for me if my bid is lower than other people's bids?

Same as Adword YOu choose only New York as the main City for your Campaign, and if somebody else has same campaign in New York + Has a Bigger BID for same keyword, means your ads will not run until your competitor budget is Gone. Thanks Greg | |
