Default An Interesting E-Mail about "guaranteed leads"

Hello Chris,

Over the past several weeks, we've seen a tremendous increase in the number of affiliates making use of freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services to generate leads through their affiliate account.

While the use of freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services may seem like an easy way to generate low cost leads, the reality is that these low cost leads are fraudulent and are being created using fake data and stolen identities.

These freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services are scammers who are taking advantage of inexperienced affiliates. They are requesting payment in advance for leads, then putting your affiliate account at risk of termination (and non-payment) by delivering these fraudulent leads.

If you are using freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services, PLEASE STOP IMMEDIATELY. You could find yourself in a situation where you have paid them for leads for which you will NOT be paid. In other words, you'll lose money.

I'd also ask that you spread the word about these freelancers and/or guaranteed lead services. Feel free to send this e-mail to your colleagues and/or post to your favourite message boards. Let's stop these scammers before they further victimize our industry.

Thank you.

this is interesting.
I really hope no one from WarriorForum is doing it. We are affiliate and we generate leads that interested with the offer and not just only sign up.

If you think paying someone to sign up to you offer works, your CPANetwork and Advertisers do not need you. They can just buy them from freelancer themselves.

I agree completely. Fraudulent activities can get you a certain result, but are always
short-lived, and can create you more harm than good. Always do it the right way.

there will always be noobs or get rich quick types that will risk their account, even without their knowledge with this type of services... the only thing that can be done is stricter control from the networks part

One thing i've learned about online marketing is that the hype about instant profits and guranteed leads always have a bad side to it.There's no such thing as a gurantee, and if there was,why would the person advertising guranteed leads give them to you and not utilize them himself?(no sexism intended)

Really pisses me off when CPA marketers hire freelancers for such kind of task ,If Freelancer provide legit leads then why they don`t promote offers themselves why they work for others even if someone hiring these people can think about it, he will get answer that freelancers use fake traffic . If any warrior is thinking to go for such shortcut or even Involved in this **** Very honest opinion is these short cuts are not gonna make you money , Be legit , work hard ,learn skills and see results
