|  Selling Ad Space on My Website?
Today I received an email from a company that is interested in have a text link on my website and I have no prior experience with this. I would definitely like to sell some ad space but I really don't know how much a good deal would be. They said that they would like to pay an annual free upfront , which sounds fine to me  I average 60-65000 uniques a month Around 180-200000 pageviews per month The website is in the videogame niche. Any idea how much the ad space is worth? |

Do they want you to place it on all the pages or just one page? Is it just a text link or a banner? Where you going to place the ad? (sidebar, footer etc.) What's your PR? I'd ask $10 / day, may be it's too low though considering your stats.

The problem with this is that this is EXTREMELY broad. 60 to 65000 is a big difference. The biggest thing is be straight-up and up-right with potential. If you aren't getting a lot of traffic then say so - but then provide him/her with ways for you to get more. As far as charging - where on your website are you putting it? Is it an image? How big is it? |

Text links ads is more depend on page rank, domain authority and design.

I read this as 60k-65K per month not 60-60,000. Just my 2 cents |
