So I finally saved enough for the minimum deposit on MediaTraffic ($200) so I thought I'd get some advice from you guys. Do you guys recommend I do CPC first or dive right into experimenting with PPV traffic because I've heard a lot of people make a killer amount of money from PPV traffic if utilized properly. Suggestions?

People make a killer amount on a lot of different traffic sources. Split your funds between the two and see which one works best. |

Well MediaTraffic has a minimum requirement of $200 which is all I have saved at the moment (I'm a student), but they let you withdraw the remainder of your balance if you're not satisfied. So I'm guessing I should use a $100 with MediaTraffic, and if I don't get the results I'm looking for, then invest the other $100 into CPC and see what happens with that?

i'd go for some other traffic source, you would need a lot more than $200 for PPV. You would also need a proper server to run PPV traffic as it's quite demanding. For example TrafficVance (considered to be the best PPV traffic source by many) requires a minimum $1k deposit Try fb or pof for starters |

Hi, congratulations on saving that up. Just want to give you some real world advice about that 200 though. A few years ago 200 was plenty because of low click costs and high ROI. Its a little tricky now though to be honest. I'm throwing out there that 500 would be a min I would start at if I were to have to start over with nothing (at least with paid traffic). But you have 200 and are determined so here goes. For one, use lead impact. It converts better than all else besides traffic vance for PPV. Its 200 min also. Next You must have Prosper 202 if you only have 200 to spend because its essential you track everything to a T. You will lose about 20% in lost views with lead impact but it is what it is. Nothing we can do about that. It still converts. I hate email and zip submits but you must turn that 200 into 4-500 somehow. Without atleast 500 you will never scale anything even with weeklies. So buy a .info domain for 1.99 and install 202 on there. Then google the prosper202 rotator script and use that. Now load up 5 or 6 iphone/ipad etc submit offers direct linked and upload obvious targets as keywords. Bid the minimum for now. Spend 20 bucks, elimate thos not converting, eliminate bad targets. Then scale until you get scrubbed. Once you get the scrub dont try to fight it. Its over with that offer for you, move on. Get paid. Once your up to 500, move onto $4-8 lead gen offers. Test with 3-4x payout only. Hope that helps, good luck! |

I'd give the slight edge to PPC but PPV can be profitable as well. It really depends on your experience and comfort level. I agree with BlisteringROI regarding LeadImpact and submits.

I wouldn't go for PPV first since it needs more money to find a winner. If you are a beginner (and it seems you are) to the internet marketing I highly recommend you to go with free methods. Once you made some decent money then jump to paid traffic methods. Free methods take more time to make money but during the learning curve you'll get master in other aspects of IM. There are lots of points beside source of traffic that an IMer should be aware of! ~ Omid |

Have you tried either first? Perhaps read up on both of them first and from there evaluate on what would work for YOU best

I would recommend you to for got PPC first. Don't be in hurry and waste those money just split test some offers with small amount of money and thoroughly analyze the results of that campaign and try to find out the mistake which you have made in that and then move on. |
