I am planning to promot cpa offers from PPV. I researched on many forums and found out that ppv with landing page works well.

My question is how to create landing page for PPV. Which software to used? and where to host that file.

I was about to start a topic on this, but I'll just add to yours. I am experimenting with PPV. First I used direct offer landing pages, which were all ignored. Now I created by own landing pages that catches viewers attention, and are targeted. They are working better than anything so far. Having viewer to participate is the key.

I dont know if any software exists to create landing pages. I know web design/graphics so created my own using javascript, php, css, and of course photoshop. If you are in IM, these tools are very important. I recommend anyone starting to get to know these tools. Without it you'll waste a lot of time and money.

Hi SonicSync, that is very helpful. I have spent some $$ on ppv and still getting no result. But I will now try this out. Can you give me an example for landing pages that work for ppv traffic? That will be really helpful.

When looking at landing pages for PPV you need to think outside the box, don't do what everyone else is doing. Many people forget that PPV is interruption marketing, your ad is going to pop up in front of the viewer whether they like it or not (most likely hate it)

That is why you need to pull them out of whatever mindset they are in and shock them into action, you need to grab their attention and connect with them before they have the time to click that little red cross.

My advice with PPV is to get into the mindset of your potential viewer, work out what sites they would visit, why they are visiting those sites, what they hope to gain, what their current mindset is.

Sell the benefits not the facts, if promoting a dating website, the viewer doesn't care if the site had over 3 million women on there, he cares about finding someone with common interests, someone that is going to make him feel better, laugh, make happy. Start to think about providing value to your viewers and conversions will start to flow.

I'd just research building a website and start there..

A good resource that really got me up to speed on PPV marketing is Charles Kirkland here in the Warrior Forum. He covers ppv from a to z seriously, there should be some cheap wso's available by him on the subject. Search his name in the search bar.

host it in hostgator?
if you running low in budget, try on fiverr maybe. I've seen some $5/year for host.

But in PPV, you'll expect to get a lot of traffic and those smallish host might not able to cope and you lose conversions .

Depends on what are you promoting and who you are targeting? I'm testing with zip/email offers because it gives me the maximum chance to see a conversion using PPV. Selling products is different. If you have a huge budget, you can go with spending $50 a day just to get 1 conversion that will make you $100. That's when you have the moola to dish out. If you are starting with very little, start with promoting zip/email offers.

All you need is a target audience. What's in the air? Elections! hmm... Now find the audience. Give them a landing page with a subject that they are very emotional and passionate about. Find something that voting class and middle age people will be interested it. Certainly not in a new laptop or iphone....maybe a Walmart Gift Card??? Perhaps jobs ;- ) hmmm....
