I've heard several times that it might be better to send visitors to your own CPA landing page, rather than to send them directly to the CPA offer itself. Could someone please tell me the advantages of doing this? Also, some people advise building your own landing page in order to "pre-sell" the CPA offer. What exactly is this... and how is it beneficial? Please help -- I'm pretty much clueless on this one. |

yes, you should learn how to build it yourself there are actually pro and cons with and without a lander. some traffic sources are good for Direct Linking. Very depends on demographic behaviour. A lander is normally presell to user. State the benefits of the offers etc.. The Pro is you can play with visitors emotion etc the Con is they take one more steps to the offer which you might lose them. Don't worry, it boils down to split testing. I never use LP for submits or small payout offer. I only use the big one. Tell users what's the benefits they'll get. |

Hello James, Yes it's important to build a landing page for your offer. By Doing that you will be able to: 1 - Learn how to build landing pages. 2 - Get free traffic with SEO ( important ) 3 - Hide your winner keywords from advertisers. ( Many advertisers will pull their offers from you as soon as they get your winner keywords, So you do the hard job for them by spending your money on PPC advertising then they harvest the big bux) 4 - You may create a Lander that are more attractive than the offer landing page itself. |

I can count on one hand the number of campaigns I’ve made money from without the help of a landing page. It's a VERY powerul tool in the affiliate chain. There are so many things to split test however it's important to keep your selling message consistent. |

I have virtually zero website-building abilities. Is there a way for me to get my hands on some high-converting landing pages -- and split-test them -- without spending a fortune? |

| Try using free website builders such as Yola, Weebly, Blogger. You can test with these free sites and then move to a professional site when you've figured things out.

I mostly first use direct linking. Once the campaign becomes profitable I'd go for optimizing. Building you own landing page is an optimization. It means that by "Pre-selling your CPA offer you can increase the number of conversion. In building landing pages you have to be careful since you may lose your visitors. What is important in building landing pages is to test different types of them and change only one thing each time you test them. For example, you have a PPC campaign which gives you $0.71 per click on average (EPC) and you are paying $0.40 for each click and you are using direct linking (not landing page). It means that you earn $0.31 per click in profit. By building a lander you'll be able to increase your profit. You can increase your EPC to $0.97 and that means $0.57 ROI per click. so basically what you have done is you have boosted your income by 36%. As I said, first go for direct linking and once you found a winner try to optimize it by testing lots of landers and other stuff. ~ Omid |

An advantage of the squeeze page is that you can display the offer more naturally in your content or around your site. Also, if you provide value to the visitor followed by the recommended offer, they will have more trust in your and you'll see better click through rates. Of course, you could always do content locking and give away anything you want which forces them to complete an offer! |

if you know a little html, you can try Kompozer or Dreamweaver to start off with. alternatively, you can use wordpress, and you gotta know what themes and plugins will do what you want. Some plugins can do 'poll' for you. Some themes are good for reviews... Try it out with direct linking first. If it's backing out for you, try slapping a LP if it converst more |
