Default Few Questions in Regards to CPA Marketing (URL rotate etc)

I have a couple of questions before I make the last step into confirming my MediaTraffic account.

1) I've heard that rotating URL's is a good idea to test which offers are converting. However, if in MediaTraffic you have to put in the target name, wouldn't it be weird if during the search a different name shows up but it loads a different page? Or am I completely mistaken and it only works via keywords, so you define rotating URL's (a PHP script) for a set of keywords and every time it will pop up a separate offer? So, is rotating URL's a good idea?

2) If yes to the last question in #1, how do we track the rotating URL's (I heard tracker202 can't do it)?

3) In regards to subID's, if I define s1=web, do I have to keep it like that for all offers or can I just change it to s1=facebook and the CPA network will just track the "keyword" that was put into the subID? Or do the subID's have to stay consistent -- and I'd have to make s2=facebook (for example)?

4) What is a pixel tracker?

5) What is target-passthrough?

EDIT: 6) Would you recommend custom landing pages or direct link to the landing pages of the advertisers (of course the ones that allow contextual traffic)?

Thanks for taking the time, I know it's a lot to ask but it'd be appreciated!

1) Yes, rotating URL's is a good idea to see which offer converts better!

2) I beiliev that you can keep track the offers by your network's tracking system. you can check number of impressions and conversion.

3) I am not sure what you mean! Please explain more!

4) Using a pixel you can let a third party tracking system that a conversion happens! It is a feature which most of the networks have to be able to be synchronized with other tracking systems.

5) I've never heard of this one! (Shame on me! lol)

6) I hav another post about this topic: CPA: Should I Build My Own Landing Pages?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. To clarify:

3) For example: MarketLeverage has 5 subID's you can assign that go like s1=&s2=&s3=&s4=&s5= and for some of my links, I've put in s1=web... now obviously that subID doesn't get saved in the system, it's almost just a tracker word so next time I get a link, its blank again (with s1=). Now, if I want to track say my leads from facebook ads, and say I get a new blank link with no subID's defined... do I have to set s2=facebook or can I just set s1=facebook? I'm wondering this because I am going to start tracking using Prosper202 and I need to know under which subid I should put in the [[subid]] tag that's required. Does that make more sense? Is the s1 set in stone after I've defined it once and gotten a lead with a link that has had s1 defined?

Thanks for the help on everything else, anyone else want to clarify what target passthrough is?
