I was trying to create an ad to promote one of my affiliate offers but it got rejected by Facebook: "The content promoted in your ad is not permitted on Facebook. Please visit our Help Center for additional information and examples compliant with our Advertising Guidelines." Any ideas how I can get my offers accepted? |

Don't promote stuff they don't like. |

Submit it again. Try it for 4-5 times and if it still does not get accepted then change your add. One little secret is: the ad that that they do not like has better CTR! Believe me, this the same strategy I use. ~ Omid |

"One little secret is: the ad that that they do not like has better CTR! Believe me, this the same strategy I use." Could you clarify? So basically the ad I am trying to promote would have a high CTR and that's why they're rejecting it? How do I get it through then? What kind of ads do they like... dating ads, because I've got a bunch of those as well. Is it possibly because of the link that they are seeing? (I'm using Pretty Links to create the link for the offer)... should I use some other way to cloak the link? Also, a lot of the dating offers don't allow "Social Media" so how can I hide the referral so that they don't find out, or is social media not the same thing? |

That is just fine. Edit your ad and make sure you comply with the terms. Most of the time, they tell you what you need to change and from there, do what ought to do then resubmit. Some ads are disapproved and some will be approved. That is just the way it is. Move on... Good luck |

Try submitting again. If you get that message it's usually because they don't allow that offer you are promoting perhaps you're direct linking? You can also try using your own landing page |

They didn't exactly tell me what's wrong with the offer -- they just said they don't allow those types of offers (I'm guessing affiliate offers)? Should I promote dating offers instead and try those? Or should I create a custom landing page for each offer I promote?

make sure that the landing page is the correct landing page for the country you are promoting. Read the terms. If they deny you due to the image keep resubmitting for sure because those will be your best ctr images.

facebook is incredibly inconsistant with their approvals. It is like the number 1 frustration you will encounter. It will drive you absolutely nuts but once you get good at optimizing your ads it's worth the frustration because it pays big returns!
