Default Looking for advice for selling advertising on a Spanish Website

Greetings,

I recently acquired a management job for a spanish celebrity/gossip forum. After speaking with the owner, and installing analytics on her site for the past few months...some things didn't really add up to me.

She says she makes between $10-$20 a day with adsense, normally closer to $10. Her site gets 3+ Million Pageviews and 450-500K uniques a month...and she's only making $300-$600 a month with adsense.

This seems pretty darn low to me, but I'm also not spanish and don't know much about advertising on spanish websites, but it's in my best interest to learn so I can help her increase her revenue...and in turn my revenue.

So what I'm looking for is some advice on what types of CPM i might be able to expect from a site like this, and maybe if anyone has suggestions for some recommended Ad Networks that are Spanish friendly?

Hopefully I'm not wrong, but $300-$600 a month just seems rather low for 3mil pageviews....$.1-$.2 CPM?

$600 is too low for that site. She is missing a lot of money!

I'd place banners of some Spanish related offers! Another thing is using ad space renting websites. Text Link Ads is a good choice if the Page Rank is high enough (more than 4).

Also, You can indicate some places on the website as ad places so who is interested in paying you for ads can contact you. Simply create an "Advertise: page and put a link of it some where in the header or footer of your website.

I was looking for more along the lines of recommendations for spanish related offers or ad networks. I know it needs to have more advertising on it...I'm just don't know where to look to get the best price for a spanish site really.

600 is extremely low for the amount of traffic the site is getting.
You have a few options to monetise that forum
We have a few Spanish offers, just hit me up =]

Why cant you take the analytics data, write up a media kit, then approach advertisers that match the demographics? People ALWAYS want to make more money.

If you want an advertiser you have to be prepared to hit the pavement and GO FOR IT.

I have joined private CPM networks and done multiple deals with companies, and 90% of the time I had to initate contact, call them, email them, and show them my value. People want to make money, you have to show them that you have a good deal going and they will not turn you down.

maybe buy sell ads can be an alternative ... I see they're running ads for my country which is smaller than Spanish. I don't know how hard is to get in.
