Question for CPA/List Building Veterans about conversions

I concentrate mostly on SEO/CPA and do decent. I have never tried to build a list though and I know I should have done it a long time ago, especially with the volatility of CPA offers.

I have a site that is in the MMO niche and converts well for a certain CPA offer. I want to start a list from that site but I am afraid if I put an opt in box with an offer for a free MMO guide or something that I will decrease my conversions for the CPA offer.

Not sure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd build the list instead of just getting conversions!

Here is the plan. First just put the opt box with no CPA offers on your website then send the subscribers follow ups including your CPA offers link.

So when somebody opts in to the box he/she becomes a subscribers then receives unlimited number of CPA offers.

One point you should keep in mind is to never bombard your subscribers with CPA offers. Build relationship with them. Send them only 1 or 2 offers per week. This way you can keep you members for long time.

The above plan is better since you can make money from one member forever instead of just once!

Thanks for the advice, never really thought of completely taking the CPA offer down and going strictly for opt ins, something to think about though for sure.

The only problem is that right now my landing page is basically all about selling this one CPA offer. Should I continue to try and sell the offer and then maybe at the end require an opt in for more info about the offer???

Or go for the standard free MMO guide in return for the offer. Thanks again!

Building a list is the way to gooo. Since you are going to build a business and and people to promote your offers every month. Or else your going to keep doing SEO every time.
