CPAlead Best Practices?

Which methods have worked best for you guys with CPAlead?

I get about 600 organic hits a month for a very specific term (potato gun plans) and I've had CPAlead installed for a couple of days now. I know it's not really a broad enough test to judge it, but I've had zero clicks and zero leads on my offer for a free set of potato gun plans. I realize I'm looking at it through my own rose-colored glasses but it's really hard to believe that not a single person looking for such a specific term/item would follow through.

Could my offer "language" be wrong? Should I use the option to remove the "Close" button? Does the initial content locker or the exit offer widget work better? Does the "actor" feature work or is it just annoying?

Try these two tips:

1. Try having the Content Locker show up on a time delay, so users can figure out a little more about what they are getting. This works really good with our users at AdWorkMedia.com because the traffic pretty much gets sucked into the product and can't resist leaving the content behind!

2. Another option is to have your Content Available through a download button, This way they can find out about your site and then when they go download the plans, they will only then see the content locker.

Finally, if you are going to have a close button, make sure to state that this product is provided free of charge, and make it known that any offer completion will only help pay for your hosting cost and support the growth of the website.
