One way people are starting to deal with banner blindness is to start using in-image ads. The ad overlays appear over an image, which is relevant to the ad, when a visitor mouses over it. Image space media has a short video on their home page which describes how it deals with banner blindness. Hope that helps! |

I'll create a sets of banner . say 10-15 images (300x250 and 110x80) in my case. Then start rotate them. Will get some high CTR at the begining but eventually CTR will come down. Then I pause (dont delete) and use other banners. Probably weeks later, I'll unpause them and run again. Basically keep preparing a big collection of images and run them. Rotate them |

Banner rotators are great, but try editing the banner (if the advertiser allows) simple tricks you can knock out in photoshop. For example try putting a border round the banner, fake scroll bars down the side, amateur arrows and typography etc. Have fun and experiment. |
