So have been promoting these offers, and I realize why dont I collect the emails for myself? I'm good at getting people to interact and give out their email ads with pro-designed landing pages but am wondering what can I do with them once I have a bunch? Can I promote offers to them, without it being labeled spam? And, is promoting an offer through emails far better than using PPC and PPV? |

Thats a great idea; say you're in the internet marketing niche, reviewing programs (Just something i've done before), and people want to be notified of a new blog you put out. You can use an awebber form for the sign up and you can create a mass newsletter, or promote products the the e-mails you've collected. I think it's better simply because you dont have to worry about people comming back to your site; you take the product to them.

You use PPV or PPC to get the email sign-ups. If you mean that collecting subscribers is better than direct-linking, I'd say yes it definitely is. I look at it in this way: If you had a carpet-cleaning company, would you want to just chase one person after another to get 1 job and then leave. OR.. would you rather have them calling you back once a month to do a scheduled cleaning? With email you can constantly keep yourself "on their minds". Relationshp-building is always better than a 1-shot deal. ![]() |

I promoted email and zip submits for years and like an idiot I didn't build lists. Once I started, I saw my income double, triple, and sometimes even quadruple. Let me give you an example... A few years ago Brett Favre announced his retirement and was leaving the Green Bay Packers. I created a "poll" where I asked people "Should Brett Favre Retire - YES or NO - Answer For An Opportunity To Win A Free iPod." When they clicked either link I directed them to an iPod submit offer. During this time Google Adwords was fairly lenient (I did have a quality site though) and pulled a solid $30 - 40K profit over the course of 2 months. I was paying around $0.08 per click. Now - I've been focusing on FIRST capturing the lead with my own squeeze page and then sending them to an offer. This technique is called lead generation arbitrage and rather than making $XXX per day I moved to $X,XXX per day. Using my same example above, I would put on my landing page, "Should Brett Favre Retire - YES or NO - Select And Answer And Enter Your An Opportunity To Win A Free iPod." As soon as they input their email I send them off to the email/zip submit offer. If the CPA network allows it you can pre-populate it for an even better conversion rate. This way you can have an automatic email followup sequence and email the user more offers daily (free NFL jerseys, Free NFL tickets, etc.). Just ask your account manager at the network for similar offers. By doing this you actually RETAIN an asset from the traffic you purchase rather than just having a bridge page. Google has gotten a lot stricter but you can STILL do this if you create a high quality website (tons of unique content enhancing the user's browsing experience). PPV traffic is also a REALLY good place to do this and I've had the best luck bidding on keywords (and misspellings) rather than URL targets. |

Lot of guys using their own mailing list to mail. But they normally use ppc, ppv, sometimes SEO to get traffic to the sites. Affiliate network get email list with email submit offers. Any other ways?

Yes, definitely. They say that money is in the list. Capturing leads and sending them followups is the best way to make money! ~ Omid |

Building a list is great, but you've gotta provide "value". Too many people build lists and then instantly SPAM ClickBank offers or submits, etc. You can fail horribly by building the wrong type of list. I've done it already, I know. |

![]() A great point made here, you need to create that relationship and build upon the initial offer that the viewer signed up for provide them with real value and you can profit time and time again. DOn't immediately think you have a prospect that is willing to fill out offers and bombard them, doing this will ultimately lose you a valued subscriber and money.

This is very true! I see so many people send out SPAM offers the minute you opt-in to their list. No value add and no relationship building.
