Default Zip Submits

Hey guys I am looking to run a few zip submit campaigns to see how they work. In order for a lead to be generated does the user only have to enter his/her zip and go to the next page? How quickly do the networks become notified that a lead was generated? And thus, how quickly do the networks pay once they have established a lead has been generated?

As soon as a zip is submitted the network is notified and you'll get paid in no time.

I sent my friend the url for a campaign I am interested in and he submitted his zip and went to the next page. The network says I have 1 click but 0 conversions? I am just trying to see if this is going to work.

The 1st page zip submit offer pays on submission of a valid zip code. And you will get the credit for it immediately when the lead generated. And some offers converts on submission of a valid second page contact info. These type of offers are called 2nd Page Submits. Just carefully read the offer description page or you can ask your AM at the network for the info.

The lead should be counted immediately with the Networks tracking. When you get paid is up to the network and advertiser (when the network gets paid is usually when you get paid, prob 2 weeks later. Some networks before if you're driving massive traffic).

Regarding the conversion counting it can be several things. If its coming from an IP that has been logged into the network it won't count. If there is nothing connecting then make sure the offer is running (not turned off after a certain time or see if its capped for the day). lastly its possible there is some funny biz going on with the advertiser or network but this probably isn't it.

Call up your AM and talk to him/her. That'll get you the most and best info.

email/zip submits usually converts 1/3 even if someone inserts a valid email or zip.

its good for starting out cpa affilaites.
normally email/zip once its submitted conversion pixel will fires and you get payout. Try to send in good quality traffic and not junk. Do not even try to fill it in yourself to test.

You'll either end up being booted off from the offer or get shaved.

One thing to keep in mind is that with simple submits you will almost NEVER get credit for all leads generated. They are generally harder to convert on the backend and the traffic is normally not as good, so there is shaving and other stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

They still work, just keep that in mind!

Assuming the IP/zip is not already in the system you will get credited for it right away

Useful information in this thread, thanks.

Can I ask: Why would you get paid for a zip? How is that useful to the advertiser?

(Complete dummy here when it comes to CPA.)

Zip code in itself isn't very useful except for maybe geo targeting the backend funnel.

The merchant makes money from the whole backend funnel that the visitor must go through. The initial zip code submit is normally just to get the visitor interacting, thereby increasing the stick rate through the funnel. The money therefore doesn't come from the zip code, that's just a way to get the visitor through the multitude of upstream offers

There is a lot of scrubbing on email / zip submits. It's not real newbie friendly but to make money on email / zip submits you should consider coreg.

What is CoReg?
