Yesterday I have earned $20 promoting email submit offer using PPC Adwords Traffic. With the same ppc campaign and running the same set of keywords, I have zero conversion today. The day is almost over. 2011/09/19 - 54 Clicks - 10 Actions 2011/09/20 - 43 Clicks - 0 Actions ![]() ![]() I'm trying to decide whether to pause my workout or not. I'm very new to PPC and don't have much money. So I bought $50 adwords voucher and just started learning to use it properly. Yesterday I spent $8 on adwords and earned $18. I have $28.60 credit remaining. I hope I can see success from the remaining credits. Then I can keep using AdWords using my own money after the voucher has been used. |

Lead Scrubbing / Shaving is normal in zip/email submit offer no matter what the network is. Try rotating a lot of similar offers in different networks, you will find out there are some email submit advertisers/networks that scrub less than others.

Honestly, $50 is too low for learning. You should track the campaign. Sometimes weekend are better in terms of conversions. Also, usually evening to night works better for getting conversions. You should keep above facts in mind when you are analyzing your campaigns. ~ Omid |

I am going to get smashed for saying this, lol First of i think maxbounty is a great network and they always Pay. My only down fall with them is they forget they are doing the advertiser a favor by promoting there offers in the first place and allows the advertiser to have to much control. I am so sick of advertisers hook line and scam line this is not backing out for us. When you make **** offers like submits, Spyware filled toolbars, or Any incent i am willing to bet that traffic is not gonna be Great. Especially with submits, 1st off no one ever gets the bull crap they are offering as this is just a scam to get people information so they can later try to sell them stuff by email. They promise they respect your privacy but we all know they sell there email list to other companies so they can try and sell us stuff too. Point being is Steve is a great guy but he needs to put his foot down more and threaten these SOB's then cause one thing i have notice over the years advertisers will try any means to get out of paying and a lot of networks allow that not backing out for us bs. If a pub is sending fraud then yes scrub or block but if its just a classic not backing out for us then reply back then do not make such bs offers where the stuff you are offering is never really giving away. you offer crap you get crap. That is like running Bingoliner Inventively because it allows it. offer pays 9 bucks so offer a $5 amazon gift card for downloads (soft Incent) and then YeahCPA banning me saying traffic quality is poor. Well duh retard do you really think they wanna spend hundreds to play bingo or want the incent. I personally believe there are just as many scam advertisers as there is Publishers and networks need to be more strict with them or tell them to take there offer and shove it. |

Mate, it could just be one of those days. Ive had days where sites have converted very well, and other days where it was almost like no conversions. Your AM is right in saying there can be several factors. Lastly i ended up with natural traffic, it although at first is hard work, later on it pays off, as the monthly traffic costs can be scraped, and its much more consistant, and only those people truly looking for the service/product you provide will end up on the site, and as such you can expect a higher conversion rate. hope that helps mate. |

| ICC: I too am experiencing some interesting things with MAXBOUNTY as of late. I recently got approved with them and starting promoting offers. What boggled my mind was, in their reports, it show me as promoting offers I am not?? And CLICKS by the hundreds going to them? I asked my AM what was the deal? She said sometimes offers get rerouted? And that to be careful what countries I am advertising in. So I double checked all countries were matched up properly, and she said all was fine. I logged in today, once again...another 50 clicks sent to some bunk offer I could care less about promoting? I cant help but feel that something shady is going on? Can someone shed some light?? |

This is not a error, This is geo targeting. Someone goes to your site from a country the offer does not allow, it redirects it to another offer. What you are experiencing is normal | |

| Thanks for your replies. I have my PPC set to target ONLY countries they want to market their ads. So, should NEVER be any redirects...Correct? No, I am not using tracking with bit.ly |

Google vs Facebook vs Bing vs contextual networks vs MaxBounty vs the advertiser... we all use somewhat different logic in matching IP to country. So even if you're buying solely American traffic from a search engine, you will get some minor international traffic.
