It would be nice to hear what others are doing here. Currenlty I am at about 25% (varies from 15% to 40%) R.O.I. for my paid traffic to email submits. So I spend $20k month on traffic and pull in about $27K for $7k profit....(again varies a bit but it's an average) How is this compared to you? My goal is to get to $100k+ ad spend each month for 30% R.O.I....Hey i know it's never as smooth as this. But that's the plan. ![]() Paid traffic all the way for me. CPA is too dynamic to with for free traffic (SEO, etc I.M.H.O. ) |

Anywhere from 1-1000%.. really thats an impossible question, I always like to have a 50%+ ROI, preferably 100%

I just wrote a whole article elsewhere (not published yet) about how I believe people place way too much emphasis on ROI in the IM world. It's an important metric but not the most important by any means and setting strict ROI parameters for your investment decisions can lead to a lot of money left on the table. Without getting into too many details, which of the following would you rather pursue... keyword 1 has an ROI of 100% and total available daily click costs is $300 (meaning you would be earning $600 gross and $300 net) keyword 2 has an ROI of only 20% but total available daily click costs (investment magnitude) is $100,000 meaning you would be earning $120,000 gross and $20,000 net Clearly the second one yields more profit despite a much lower ROI. So keep an open mind and don't be too rigid about your ROI thresholds...always keep magnitude in mind. Of course this example assumes unlimited ability to invest, which is possible but you would have to make some adjustments to account for the cost of borrowing. Also, this is just one scenario but there are many others where ROI can be deceiving. There are other scenarios where ROI is in fact the most important variable. Just food for thought | |

30% - 500% ROI with ppv traffic. Usually I'm glad for anything over 40% though. |

do most offers work on PPV or is it certain verticals? Are you direct linking right to the offer or landing pages?

highly suggested that you do^^^^ As for my ROI.......well overall it's still low, but Id say about 20% on this new Ipad offer I have going on, which is pretty sweet. It's with Adcenter, so nice traffic also. Making a landing page for it so google will let me come in also Goodluck!Jeremy |

right now its a bit of a negative ROI because we're in the fine-tuning state.. Determining which keywords convert better, demographics, best time of day, etc.

| Well, that idea got the smack down. Looks like AdCenter is really starting to crack down on CPA. I set up a email submit using a landing page w/banners. Then, the banner clicked thru to 100% iFrame. Anyway, long story short they say they will not approve ads that basically have anything to do with promotions, giveaways, offers...etc..etc. I was more surprised that they were drilling down into my actual offer. They clicked through the banner, filled out the email, and as soon as they saw the other typical offers "gold, silver, premium" that was required in order to get the item - they put the kabosh on the whole ad. ---- Rejected! |
