Hello everyone. I am new to CPA marketing and today started 3 campaigns using a popular CPA network and separately a popular PPC source. Here's the question. When building the ad with my PPC source, does the display name need to be an actual domain name that I own? I did use an actual domain name with a 301 redirect to the CPA destination. Two are click bank products and one is an "enter to win" CPA with the surfer entering an email address. I am just not sure if the display URL actually needs to be a real domain name if the destination URL is the CPA offer. Can someone help explain this to me? Thanks. |

The Display URL has to be the exact URL/domain where the visitor lands on after all the redirects. If it is not the same, your campaigns will be rejected. Continuing to mess with it will get your account banned. Yes, it has to be a working, active, domain...which it should be unless you are sending clicks/visitors to a dead end. Which wouldn't make sense unless you feel like throwing money away. This of course is relevant, if the popular source for PPC happens to be adwords. |

Thank you for the reply. Are you saying the display URL and the destination URL need to be the same? That confuses me. Here's what I did. I purchased a domain name, added the domain to my hosting account, then added a redirect to the click bank product sales page. The ad has the domain name that I purchased displayed in the URL in the ad, and when a visitor clicks on the ad, it takes them the sales page of the click bank product, which of course is an entirely different URL. Are you saying this is not acceptable? For the non click bank product, it's basically the same process except the redirect sends the visitor to the merchant's offer page. I am totally new to this, so I just want to make sure I am following the process correctly. Thanks for your help. |

Thank you all for the reply. I am using 7 Search right now, so it sounds like I am okay following this process. I am probably going to sign up with Clicksor and Pulse360 next. Google Adwords is obviously a little intimidating for a newbie like me, so I will probably stay clear of that for a while until a learn more about what I am doing. From what I understand, though, once you know how to work the Google system, it can be lucrative. |

Ok, sorry I have another question. I found an offer I would like to promote, but I do not have a domain name relative to the offer to use in the display URL. Can I use the merchant's URL in the display URL or does it have to be one of my own domain names? Thanks again. |

For 7seach, no need to worry about the display URL.
