That can work. I dont suggest that though. Just find something people want, rank for it, then give them a reason to go through the content locker.

There are a bunch of people doing that and they are using software to make the videos and post them. They are putting up 100+ per day so it's a very competitive niche. If you don't have their softwares you would be left behind. Stef |

you don't necessarily have to go after movies sites. You can lock any thing which has good demand. Banned videos, celebrity video clip's , information products etc etc.

Where are you sourcing your videos from? If you download a pre-existing YouTube video and then re-upload it on your own account, it will automatically be flagged as copyrighted material by YouTube's duplicate video counter-measures. You need to edit the movie just a tiny bit before uploading, that way you completely re-alter the algorithm. You're already in a competitive market approaching YouTube with this particular niche. Methods like this one are highly saturated with multiple parties using automated software. I recommend looking for a new niche offering something new. If I were you I would consider uploading videos of software, pictures, products, etc and approach the market from a different angle. |

Dont do youtube if you want to make serious money with CPA/Lead Gen. The high payout offers wont accept ****ty traffic that comes from PPV, Youtube and even social networking sites (trust me I've tried). Stick to adwords, YSM and BING ... and yes even email marketing works if you rent lists. But you wont get accepted to the high paying $90 bucks per lead products. Any questions just let me know, Nick |

Worked well back in the days, but not worth investing time in projects like these if you don't plan to make it really big (read: really big) - in my opinion. Example sticking to a popular tv-show, Breaking Bad. Or something unusual like having all seasons of Gordon Ramseys "Hell's Kitchen". You get the idea. Movies in general, is pretty easy to get for free on the net. Today, people will probably only see it as spam and nothing else. "VISIT XXX.COM TO SEE THE MOVIE!!!" Wondering if anyone buy these tricks anymore... Not sure if the visitor will go trough all the "trouble" to see a popular movie that's available for free everywhere else (torrents, lots of streaming sites). Thats my 2 cents. But the whole locking-content strategy is good otherwise. ~Alex Nash |
