Is the general consensus that creating your own banner ads will outpull a CPA network's banner ads? Or is a matter of testing?

Make your own.. the networks are very generic and typically don't give too high of a ctr

Are you any good at creating banners? If you create crappy banners, you're gonna have a crappy CTR. Advertisers provide networks with banners, but some networks also have internal designers to provide additional banners. Having said that, typically the banners provided by advertisers aren't bad for generic advertising, but they're used across many networks and have been seen, whereas custom banners are fresh and could catch more attention. But they have to be enticing, just like anything. |

Hello Tom, Testing always is the key. Sometimes the network banner will have better CTR, Sometimes yours will do. I will msg you the email of a great designer who offer services here on the WF and you can contact him if you like. Tips: I do test some banners from other networks for the same offer and this works sometimes. |

^^^ this.... 2-4 banners usually. Mine are typically so ugly you could make them in MS Paint. If you can, and if it applies, test writing them in the first person. |

Recently I find 'ugly' banners to work for me, that's why I make my graphics. The other reason to use your own banners is that they're unique. I think that if people see the same banners multiple times they don't click them more than once. |
