CPA tax form question?

So me and my mom work on the same account on various CPAs. Would it be okay if the name on the CPA accounts are my name but my mom submitted the tax form with her name & SSN ?

My mom is not a tech savvy person but she does the offline advertising while I do the online advertising. I signed up for CPAs so it has my name on it but we both work on the same accounts.

It would be best to have them match however, if you call your affiliate manager and discuss the matter with them you should be golden

I think the tax form and the account owner should be one person. But the best person to ask the same question is your affiliate manager.

Yea, i agree with Omid & southbeachnick. You'd better to contact your AM at the network for the issue.

Speak with your AM and accountant to be sure, I'm assuming it would need to be the same..

Sidenote: You might wanna look into forming a LIMITED company / Incorporate (Inc.) or even look at offshore company creation. That way, you won't have to pay as much to the taxman. But speak to your accountant first!

Who are payments made to?

Whoever the payments are made to will get a 1099 at the end of the year and will be responsible for the taxes.
