Google Panda is a set of algorithms that Google uses to put high quality websites on top of displayed results, and to lower the rank of low quality websites, so that people get better results when they are searching the web with Google.

Its the new Google algorithm change that changes the organic search rankings for websites. Just another reason why PPC is a much more sustainable business model instead of slaving away doing SEO just for Google to change the goalposts. Ah well, the more money for me due to less competition

Google Panda refers to the change introduced to the search algorithm used by Google in 2011, to give better search results.

though it is not that effective for auto-blogs and stuff like that :P

Google Panda is not just one time algorithm change. They started around Fed 2011 and Google keep changed algorithm to achieve what they want. I noticed the change for several months. So, there is no easy way out of panda bomb.
