Hi guys, I have a CPA offer that is only available in the USA. I have created a Facebook ad for the offer and the link goes directly to the intended site if the user is from USA. If the user is from outside USA it goes to an alternative offer, which is in most of the cases a free iPad. Since I only want to target USA, I have restricted the users in the ad settings to USA only, so no Facebook user from outside USA can see it. But Facebook rejected my ad because they says that it cannot review the link. I have sent them an email but still waiting for reply. any of you guys know what I am doing wrong? The site seems OK. Can it be because the offer is only viewable from inside USA? here is the site I am promoting: Official Double Your Dating | David DeAngelo's Double Your Dating thanks mubb |

This is because the person who would have reviewed your Ad wouldn't have been from US so he would have been redirected to some other page. Instead of direct linking try to use landing page and use geo redirect script in that page. |

Create a basic landing page that reflects your ad copy, once its approved redirect your link and get rid of the lander. Simple.

hmm... I do not want to upset Facebook so will postpone the landing page idea for now. I think Facebook is OK with landing pages, in case it sticks with their guidelines. I have sent another email to them, let us see what they reply. GOD, Facebook is becoming tougher and tougher by the day |

The reason you were not approved for the ad, is because Facebook reviews your link from different locations all over the world. As for the question if they allow landing pages, lol they prefer landing pages. |

They still check it from different worldwide locations, even if you only target USA. It's stupid, but thats Facebook.. lol

Yes FB allows landing pages, yes they allow direct linking. It's exactly what people are saying, the reviewer is somewhere else, and is thus getting redirected. It's stupid but it's FB. As was mentioned, either setup a landing page (which is beneficial in more ways than one) or if direct linking, use a geotargeting script.

if i set up a geotargeting script, will this be ok with repsect to FB terms of use? does not this mean that the link they are checking is different then the one the user is getting? also when i set up the geotargeting script, what page should i redirect the users to? does it have to be a page related to the offer or just any page? thx mubb | |
