Default CPA Fraud

Hi. I want to know that if anyone found doing fraud in cpa, what would be the result. Would they call or suit a case against you or they just kick you out of the network? Cheers.

I think it depends on the network. If they're just starting, sue you to have money to pay of their affiliates. If they're big already more than likely just ban you and threaten to sue to scare fraudsters off.

Like I said, it depends. It also depends on the amount of fraudsters you're having on your network. If i owned a network I would sue the **** out of fraudsters to scare away potential ones.

It all depends on the severity of the fraud, if you have tried to milk a few dollars by getting friends to sign up then your account will be banned and no commissions paid.

However, if it is fraud on a significantly larger scale where thousands of dollars are trading hands the the repercussions could be quite sever.

Either way, it's not worth thinking about, stick to high quality legitimate traffic, once your name is tarnished it will be known across the networks.

Today I received a notice from one of my cpa networks. It was a copy of a letter from an investigator at the local police department. Someone was playing games with payment checks, altering names and amounts. Needless to say, someone is going to jail.

Like any business, they don't fool around, steal their money and they will put you in jail.

There's only one reason you're even asking this question.

Just do legit business, zero fraud and you'll be fine.

If it's just a few low-value clicks, then you will get a warning and then get banned. If you end up with $100 or more, you will probably get sued. It's never good to do though, because CPA fraud screws business owners out of their marketing money, and those people work hard just to have a marketing budget.

They will vanish you forever and they can post your information on forums for not to accepting any other network.

I have never listen about legal action against any publisher for fraud.

But don't try any offer convert after CC submit, Because Credit card fraud is serious offense according Federal law.

This is an interesting question.. best case scenario you get kicked off that network and possibly blacklisted from all networks, worse case - you'll be sued for everything and locked up.. and everything in between..

After working behind the scenes, it's kind of funny to me how many frauders think they can get away with it. They don't realize exactly how much technical information we have on you about how you're operating. If a network is paying attention, they'll catch you for sure, but even if they're too busy to watch closely, the advertiser will catch you and let us know.

You will get kicked out, not paid to start.

If its major fraud, you may get sued.

The possibility of arrested and prosecution is more and more likely now, especially for large sums of money. I've helped prosecute five fraudsters this year.

They will ban you and hol your money.

Working with the networks is certainly a lot better than working against them. We already have enough obstacles to overcome in this industry, and having the networks and advertisers against you won't make things easier.

How large were the sums of money that those 5 guys were making? Like an idiot, I gave my account to some guy for a JV last month, and he committed fraud on it. The network paid me like $1,000, but then after issuing the payment they banned my account. They didn't ask for the money back though. Should I contact them and offer to give them the money back?

Also, what kind of proof do you need to prosecute them? Were they committing CC fraud, or just submitting fake leads?

First of all

NEVER EVER TRY TO CHEAT WITH CPA NETWORKS !!

1- They will terminate/ban your account
2- They will forfeit your earnings !
3- They can blacklist your IP address
4- If you did a big scam to them, They can even do some legal stuffs with you !
5- They might can do many things which we have no idea !

PS: These are just my thoughts on what they can do.....

So please always respect your network be friendly with your AM and never cheat them

Regards
~Sam~

That's pretty much it.
Or if yo you scammed them for tens of thousands of dollars, maybe they'd call lawsuits.

If you are breaking doing fraud then there is ALWAYS a chance you can sued, which if you don't have a proper business set up, can involve personal assets and personal wealth.

Pretty much every fraud breaks some terms and conditions. Most likely if you are just sending bad traffic or something then you will get kicked out of the network and that's it.

Keep in mind that networks share blacklists so getting banned from one network can lead to a domino effect and hurt your business tremendously.

At the end of the day, play by the rules and you will make more and last longer in this business!!!

You are gonna end up putting just as much effort and energy to make the fraud work if you were to do it legit.

The fraud to be successful requires much planning and to consider avoiding every aspect of getting cought. Now if you are only one person, you can't possibly know how another one will think to discover your scam and you'll be cought.

So, why not put that same effort and energy into a legitimate plan and make it work. You'll be making more money. I mean just look at some of the people here on the forum. Making tens of thousands a month doing it legit. They are happy. Jail not hanging over their head, don't have to duck around every corner.

That money coan be yours and all you have to do is just copy what they do. COPY WHAT THEY DO!!

DOn't have to invent anything new. Capishhhhh?

Are you committing fraud?

If in any event you know of anyone doing it, tell them to stop.

It's illegal, it's stealing, and it's taking money from advertisers big time.

You could face jail/prison time, have something on your record whereas no affiliate, cpa, or ppc network will let you in, and be forced to pay a hefty fine.

Screw fraud.
