Default Does this CPA strategy make sense?

Hey fellow warrior, first time posting, really awesome community.

I want to start CPA, at this moment I am with MaxBounty and PeerFly, both great network.

I really believe in the concept of speed of implementation, as soon as I got accepted in MaxBounty I started trying to promote email offer by Twitter (all white hat here). Result, GOOD Traffic, BAD conversion. Nearly 1000 visitors, not a single conversion.

Back to the strategy I want to try soon. I have good knowledge with SEO and affiliate marketing, so I will use that.
My idea was to create a simple Wordpress blog, and create literally dozens of posts properly SEO'ed. They will mainly act as landing pages for my ads. I hope that I will get at least a little ROI with proper test.
Since they will be SEO posts, with a off-page job, I hope that I can get some organic traffic.

In Resume: Creating a blog, create SEO Post with CPA offer and banner, use PPC to drive traffic, then with backlink and SEO to get organic traffic.

Does anybody have experience in something similar. Would such blog get a decent click-through and CPC.
Any network to suggest or technique to decrease click cost.

Thanks, looking forward your knowledge.

Hello Djinn130,

Very nice strategy and well thinking. SEO takes time and hard work but its worth it. If you have passion to create website or blogs then you better start right away and do your testing. Try some blogs with many offers like Apple products iphone, ipad, macbook, and some blogs focus on one offer to see what works better for you.

Good luck

Thank you very much for such quick and useful replies.
I am definatly starting tonight.
My main question here is not much about SEO, I got that down, it is about ppc.
I played with ppc earlier in the year for some of my mns and got some decent click cost, ranging from 7 to 16 cents per click on adwords.
Do you think that if I can achieve the same sort of cost per click I should break even or make money?
I was thinking of pre-qualify leads by making them understand that they will need to contribute in order to get the item fro very cheap. That will certainly drop my CTR but would get more targeted visitors.
Would such technique impact my Cost per click, due to lower CTR ?

Thanks again.

I have seen some warriors espouse PPV rather than PPC. You should split test both methods to see which gives you better CTR!

Nice strategy.

I'd test the PPC campaign. No one can say what would be the result. Just give it a try and you'll know what keywords make you money and what keywords don't. Also, you need to test several ad-copies to see which one works.

The strategy can work, just be careful to keep your sales funnel in mind. If you are paying for traffic, you don't want your visitors to go to your blog and just start browsing around the other posts without ever filling out the offer or entering the sales funnel.

Most visitors will click away if they don't see a call to action or at least some powerful attention grabber. If you are sending to a straight content based blog post, it may be difficult to get a good enough conversion to justify the click costs.

So just keep that in mind...tho I am a fan of testing everything so I say go for it!

sounds like you need to find offers with incentives and a niche that best suits your audience, or in this case followers
