What is seo campaign?

Hi. I am newbie and I don't know what is seo campaign. I know in general that seo is used to improve the visibility of a website. But i don't know how the cpa campaigns are related to it. What should I do to start seo campaign. does it require any money? pls solve my doubts. cheers.

Do a simple search in Google for "what is SEO" and you will find many information.
Ok SEO is a free way to promote your site in search engines and it is a big industry.

CPA(cost per action) is a part of affiliate marketing.

So you promote CPA products in your website through search engines and it doesn't cost anything if you learn and do it yourself.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation,

The general principle is that you configure key aspects of your website to ensure that it ranks on the 1st page of google or any other search engine.

This can be done completely free and whilst it may take a little bit of time to actually get your site ranking, it is worth it as you will have a continual stream of organic traffic that you can monetise through cpa offers, adsense, products etc.

This is the key to remember - SEO builds your site's traffic. CPA offers are good for monetizing traffic you already have.

Look at it as if it was fishing. CPA is fishing. Do you expect to do any fishing from your livingroom? From a road? Or in the desert?

Some websites are like a desert - NO TRAFFIC!
Some Websites are like a road - Not Targeted Traffic!
Some Marketers do business from their livingroom - Lazy and Take NO Action!

You need to fish where the fish are! So either you bring (seo) the stream of fish (traffic) to your house (website) or you go and fish (advertise: flyers / email / ezine / ad space / classifieds /etc.) where the fish (traffic) are!

Remember that the number 1,000 is equal to less than .0001 when it comes to traffic and to promoting (flyers, especially) I'm trying to give you some perspective to help you think in big numbers when trying to fish!

I've never heard of a "seo campaign", seo stands for search engine optimization.. all it is in basic terms - you are optimization your website to give good results on search engines..

Simple. You pick a specific keyword to target and build a site around it, or a group of relevant keywords and build a complete niche site.

You could also pick a vertical such as dating, and then build specific dating pages and group them into different categories.

So if your site was called: BestOnlineDatingReviews.com

Then you could have different pages targeting specific niches, such as:

- BBW Singles
- Christian Singles
- Asian Singles
- Black Singles
- Jewish Singles

Niched even further:

- Latin BBW Singles
- US Male Christian Singles
- Japanese Female Singles
- Persian Male Singles

After you create all your content, build backlinks to your site. Web2.0, Articles, Blog Comments, Forum Links, EDU and GOV, etc.

With changes in Google recently SEO is much trickier. You can be at #1 one day and lose everything the next day
