Hey all,

I just wanted to share you a weird story that happened to me!

I received an email from some guy saying that somebody is giving away my WSO! I replied on his email to find out more about the one who is giving away my WSO illegally.

An hour later he got back to me and mentioned that he would give me the link to the other guy but first I have to pay him some money through PayPal.

WHAT THE HECK?!

Then I just went ahead and searched my WSO's name on Google and found out that someone else is selling my WSO on Digital Point forum! I was like what is going on in this business!

I wish we had some place to take our complains to for these types of legal issues on internet.

Complain to DP forum administration....they will ban that member.

That's awful and something every single member here selling products should be on the look out for.

It might even be worth you selling the product on DP as well to ensure there are no other copycat sales.

What I can't believe is that someone tried to charge you for this. Do you think it was the person stealing your WSO? Either way, that is really screwed up. How much did s/he ask for, if you are willing to say.

It is possible to prevent any person from reselling in forums like DP but it is not at all possible to prevent people from posting our WSO's freely in black hat forums.

I will try to do that first by contacting the forum admin and if I dont find a respond I will try to contact their hosting provider.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do without locking it down and password protecting it. NOT with WordPress either.

I have heard many people recommend Wishlist Member.

Contacting admins of BlueFart forums won't work but we can remove the file from the hosting site if we contact that particular hosting.
But this is for time being only after it is deleted someother person who has that product is going to upload it again



Even if we protect it with passwords and other things the person who has brought our product can download our product easily and then upload it somewhere and share in those forums.

Like everyone above stated - contact the DP forums.. I'd even try to call the person who is doing this out on the thread where they are trying to sell it.. but that's just me

This is the cpa subforum. Make money that way. Advertise!

Making money by releasing a new WSO each week, is not really good for your karma!

try to contact the admin on the fourms..if you find any
contact places like mediafire, hotfile ...to stop them

I am not making living just by launching WSO. I just explained the real scenario of what is happening there.
Hope so you understand what I really mean to say.
Lets say for example that one guy is selling one method which has some saturation levels so he limits his sale to just 100 copies (lets assume he is totally unaware of these sharing in in those forums)
and if anyone of those 100 share it in those forums and that method gets saturated a lot and the ultimate thing is the product owner has just killed one of his earning opportunity by this.

So if someone's WSO contains some information which may get saturate then they will definitely feel lot of pain if they see these kind of things.

No No No...If you are going to launch WSO then launch it only if has good method orelse it is utter waste of time and no use in selling crap.
I just recommend you not to mention anything that has high saturation levels unless you use some way to protect the files from sharing.

This is what I've done so far:

I contacted the person who was selling my WSO and he didn't get back to me but I noticed that he pulled down the WSO and is not selling it anymore.

I've already contacted the forum owners and waiting for their response.

I think one idea would be to put the content that is not downloadable (I've seen videos that were not downloadable even with FireFox add-ons) in a secure membership site and then restrict those users that have logged in from more than say 5 IPs! Of course it could be done with a customized script.

I know it is a bit hassle but this ensures that non-buyers wouldn't have access to the product. Also, you can manually enable the access of those real members who have logged in from more than 5 IPs! It happens because they may log in from many locations like StarBaucks, school, friend's house, etc.

that simply doesn't work.
There's a always a way to find out where your video is coming from. You just gotta find that url, upload to various sites. And whips, you would have your product ripped.

That's why I make sure before buying any WSO the owner adds a security because assholes on other forums are waiting for ebooks that are popular.I would suggest make it secured with a unique ip for that person and keep track of all the users who buy it this one might be tough but hey the main point is avoiding saturation.

I got a very nice idea make a list if all the money making forums mainly the blackhat ones and then put your products in the do not share list surely this can work like a charm.

It will never be 100% foolproof to password protect your WSO, but apparently WishList ( or other protective plugins ) will help a lot.

There will always be those assholes that plan attack launches on WSOPro and the WarriorForum. There isn't much you can do when a professional hack wants to steal your WSO, and there are quite a few.

Like Kenster mentioned, there are a lot of shifty characters running around the Internet.

That is much easier said than done, and can cause problems for your buyers.

It's a shame, but the best thing you can do is just let it go viral. If they want to steal it that badly, then at least you know it's good. I don't think they'd waste their time to share crap.
