How to Promote CLICKBANK Products as an affiliate!

I was suppose to deliver this post on Monday but I got sidetracked. For those asking, I am still thinking of starting that blog. I really would rather buy an existing one though, we'll see what happens with that. No guarantees. If you want to talk business you know how to reach me.

ANYWAYS, let's get into Clickbank. A lot of affiliate discover affiliate marketing through Clickbank whether it is buying an ebook, or reading a post that says "Hey Newbs... make $1,000,000 a day with CLICKBANK!"

Sadly, most of said newbies rush out and spend hundred of dollars on Market Samurai, Micro Niche Finder, Wordpress Plugins, SENuke, and Articles in the chase of "free" traffic.

Here's a secret: You can test Clickbank products quicker and cheaper with paid traffic than SEO.

"But I dont spend money on that stuff! I use all free tools and write my OWN ARTICLES!"

Cool.

How much is your time worth? Because it takes me an hour at the most to write a LP (I direct link 99% though), get keywords, write some ads and get some real conversion numbers.

Promote offers in the 3 big niches

Health, wealth, and relationships. Primarily health. Why? Because people that are fat don't want to be fat if they can help it. Broke people are a hard sell to spend $97 on ANYTHING... and the guy that lost his ex is already scorned and will refund your product in .25 seconds if he doesnt get her back. (We'll talk about refunds later).

Where can you promote Clickbank products? Anywhere. Facebook, Direct Site Buys, BuySellAds, ProjectWonderful, MSN, Adbrite, Bidvertiser, 7Search, PPV... offline... anywhere! The key no matter where you plan to promote your offer is to get the user's attention and pique their curiosity or drive their pain. This is no black box secret. That's all it takes. Drive that knife in deep enough and they will convert.

So how do I do it? I promote weight loss products to people who don't want to be fat... I niche it down.

Who doesn't want to be fat?

Brides
Young, single women
Divorced women looking to catch husband 2,3
Single guys
Virgins
People in danger of health related death

and there are MANY MORE.

I'm not going to say WHICH group of the above I promoted to (I can't give the farm away for free) but they indeed convert when you drive that knife in deep enough.

Like I said in my previous post on dating ads.. insult people in your ads. Make them your b*tch as they clickthrough with their a$$ on the edge of their seat, waiting for the magic solution to cure them of their fatness. The fact that almost every dieting product is a video sale spage helps 10 fold because we all know fat people are lazy

Why am I giving this away?

One word: refunds. People who spend $45+ on an ebook are the type to make brash decisions, then not even read the ebook. The fact that Clickbank has such a relaxed refund policy makes it much worse. After you make the sale you have to hope and pray for 90 days that the customer doesn't refund. And if they do? Clickbank takes the money from the affiliate, not the vendor.

That just P'Od me to the point of no return. I would spend like $90 on Facebook, make over $200 in conversions, then end up only breaking even after refunds and Clickbank's B.S. "allowance" policy. I'm sorry but I don't like getting birdfed the money I earn.

How can you flip this?

CREATE YOUR OWN PRODUCT. I will say it again... CREATE YOUR OWN PRODUCT.

Some of you know I used to own a dating product on Clickbank and I never even really pushed it, and it still make 2 sales a month with random visitors from God knows where. If I knew what I knew now I would have moved my product to E-Junkie, .2CO, Google Checkout, or just sold a physical book through Amazon's create-a-space. As of now, all the products I sell go through straight Paypal.
