Default Forum marketing

Hey guys, if I were to promote my CPA offers by adding my direct link in my signature, do you think that will generate any leads? If so, what are some other forums that i can go to?

It might, depending on what you say and how often you post and if you offer something of value in your posts.

Btw, I see you are new here. Has anyone suggested you join the War Room? One tine fee and lots of free stuff in there.

Good luck.

As for other forums, I suggest you google IM forums. :-)

I think you would lose your signature privileges.

Been there, done that. lol

No direct linking to affiliate products/CPA offers. You aren't even allowed to have your domain name in your signature if it's just forwarding to an offer.

Is that so? I thought that's the whole purpose of forum marketing.

SIGNATURE FILE RULES

(1) Maximum length of sig file is 5 lines which includes any blank lines used for spaces.

(2) You are only permitted 1 color in your sig file, this can be any color so long as it's black (hyper links can be blue as they come up this way on the board)

(3) Sig files may only be written in the normal standard font size.

(4) You may bold or italicize but that's it.

(5) No Affiliate Links Allowed - Promote Your Own Domain/s Only. It's either this or we have to cut out sig files altogether which we do not want to do.

(6) Anyone Caught Promoting The Same Site/Offer Will Be Deleted. Program owners are telling their members to come here and make posts to promote their offer in their sig files. This has caused tons of useless messages to be posted and it is clogging up the forum. Anyone caught doing this will have to be removed. This is not an ad forum - it is a discussion forum.

We have no problem with someone pointing to their WSO within their sig.

Due to certain people trying to find a loophole I needed to add yet another edit. Please do not try to get around these rules by getting your own domain name and simply redirecting it to an affiliate program. You Will Be Removed From Here When Caught.

If you want to promote an affiliate program do it on your own domain. Your own web site. Not a "pre-made" web site. Your own web site, a real one. Then put THAT web site in your sig file.

A simple way to stay within this rule is this:

Promote Your Own Real Web Site And Do Not Listen To Anyone Who Tells You To Come Here Just To Promote A Site They Created For You.
Direct quote from the forum rules - What are the Forum Rules?

Trust me on this.

I lost my signature, took quite some time to get it back. And as you can see, I've learned my lesson. I now promote my own content or sites. Not redirect to affiliate products or CPA offers. lol

You can do what some of these other top CPA guys do and create a PHP redirect from your own domain name. The WF seems to allow this for some reason.

Like: ipad2reviews.com - ipad2reviews Resources and Information. This website is for sale! > php redirect > ipad2offer.com

Any more questions, just ask.

I think It depends on the niche/product/forum.. typically I believe you would want to find a forum in the same niche as the product(s) you want to sell.. I don't think CPA offers would do too well, most of them appear to be "low quality" and will most likely not sit well with many forums and their members..

But as many have stated, make sure you know the forum rules and stay within them..

I think added your CPA link in your signature to other forums is not an effective way to promote and most are not going to allow it, as stated previously, but if you have a site that you want to get attention, the best is to use current and effective SEO strategies to get attention from the search engines, in my opinion.
