i would like to know what you do to make your income through CPA, CPM, or CPL. Just a basic spark notes version of the steps you go through and what you look for.

Traffic. It's all about traffic. Learn how to drive traffic and once you are good at that, then start worrying about advanced CPA techniques!

So I would start by picking a traffic source and then start researching it and taking action and eventually you will get better and be able to drive more and more traffic. Then the CPA part of it is the easy part.

Remember to do some market research. Don't be enticed by high payouts. Look at the market and see whats working for people already.

I think different people follow different steps, and it's hard to give a step-by-step process that will work the same way for everybody.

However, there is one step I'm sure every successful marketer does and most newbies simply ignore it: optimizing.

Almost no campaign is profitable right from the first day, we need to test ads, offers, landing pages, approaches, etc until we find a winning combination. For a seasoned marketer it's just part of the process of creating a new campaign, but for a newbie it seems not to exist. People pick an offer, create a few ads, get 10 clicks and then quit because their ROI is negative.

It doesn't work like this. You need to get data, analyze it properly, make decisions and just then start seeing some profitable numbers.

It also depends on your level of experience and time/money you have to invest.

Are you looking into free or paid methods.

I personally recommend starting with free traffic if you are new as it allows you to get a grasp on how the industry works and learn the real fundamentals of how CPA marketing works and how to put together profitable campaigns.

It is a great avenue to gain experience and really learn how to generate traffic and write converting copy without cleaning you out.
