Hello,

I was informed on what CPM was, and I understand as it's an ad, and you get a certain amount of money, per impression, or per 1000 impressions.

Am I right?

If so, how do I get started?
What are good companies, or CPM affiliates - if that's what they are called?

If you get traffic from US, Canada or London then Yes you can make Good from CPM..but if you get traffic from India, Pakistan, or some other asian Country then CPM will be like 30 cents per 1000 etc..So More Good Plan you do and More Good way you get traffic. is way to get Good CPM earning..
Remember most CPM network gives sites approval after reviewing and see if your site traffic and content is Good for there publishers..So not assume to make 2 page site and get CPM account..

if a person is already getting around 50,000 impressions a month (but that's on regular CPA and affiliate type of tracking), then how would this be as an indication:

1. to the potential CPM network towards considering this type of site worthwhile

2. to the site owner to indicate what types of earnings this could bring in with CPM

The first is to consider if the traffic is coming into the site you refer to.
What type of traffic it is - targeted? And what is the targeted niche (= verticle)?

You can tell them what experience you have already creating said traffic and to what verticles.

What type of earnings per M should be anywhere around $7 -$12 +/- And that is with popunder displays with networks that feature this.

I wouldn't do anything less, you'd be better off with adsense in that case. And I would only deal with reputable firms as the lesser ones tend to allow adult ads to "slip" through and ruin your family safe sites if you have one - be aware!
