I am not sure if link cloaking is the problem. Facebook and Adwords do not like direct link to a site via affiliate link. So, you first need to create a landing page and put that adress on Facebook. From that you can send the traffic to anywhere you want. But still here is how to cloak an affiliate link. Go to your C Panel for hosting and choose your domain on the file manager. Create a New File and give a name related to the product you are promoting, then add .php at the end. Example usedgolfballs.php In that file, add the following code <?php $url='http://affiliatecode'; header("Location: $url"); exit(); ?> Simply change the part I highlighted with your affiliate link and click save. Now every time you want to use this affiliate link, just add this file name at the end of your domain (domain name.com/filename.php) and that will take your customers to the product page. |
