Default Question on the different "Creative Types"

I'm on MaxBounty and it asks the "creative type." The choices are banners, text links, search and contextual.

What are the differences between them and is there a site that explains the difference between each?

Hi there Creative type is type of promotion you are allowed to do , if it allows banners you are allowed to display banners on websites, if it allows search traffic you can advertise offer on search engines and contextual links are if you want to promote your website by placing a link on your website.

Hope that helps

It means that the type of promotion! If it says banner then the promotion type would be putting the banner on some website to promote the offer. "Search" means promoting through search engines.

Thanks for the help. I also saw Coreg and Contextual. What are those?

And if you wanted to promote via Facebook or POF, which one would you use?

You can use text creatives or banners for POF and FB.

Hey Innovator,

Holler at your affiliate manager, that is what they are there for, or you can do a quick search on the forum here. I know it's lame right not to answer "outright" but this will improve your research skills for information online and your communication skills with your maxbounty AM>

Coreg - This post should answer your question (what does COREG mean?)

Contextual - PPV, Text. It varies on different networks.

Facebook or POF, they are social. I'd suggest you start with POF.

As Ruck has said, always talk to your affiliate manager if have any questions.

Thanks for the help everyone. I've contacted my Affiliate manager but while I wait for them to answer me back I like how quick the members respond on the forum here.
