Default Question about direct linking

I'm new to CPA so i have a question for all you experienced veterans out there..

How has Facebook been feeling about direct linking lately? Let's say i want to promote a dating offer or a credit card offer on there.. Should i just go ahead and submit my direct link? Or would i be better off buying a domain name and redirecting it to the offer?

And how about Adcenter? In another thread, i saw that 7Search is cool with direct linking, but how about the bigger guys? I'm sure Google is completely against it.. well how about Bing?

Also, what other sites besides 7Search are fine with direct linking PPC?

Yes, in 7search you can directly link to your offer.

Shimmi, if you want to direct link a US based CPA offer then you can direct link no problem..

However, I reccomend using something to track your conversions like tracking202. This also allows you to split test your offers.

You said you wanted to try dating, so split testing is a must. Since performance changes network to network, offer to offer.

Naveen, thank you i'll take a look at that and return with any questions that i might have.

MrGreenAM, am I correct to assume that 'split testing' is basically keeping track of all of my campaigns separately so that I could compare them after?

You should always perform your own redirect, this way you control the traffic more. Also like others have mentioned, you should also use prosper202 to ensure you track everything!

Buddy if you thinking of direct linking to dating offer do pick well known dating sites such as match.com, cupid wand etc. i had no problem with them but when i try to direct link to other dating sites my ads been rejected. i believe its to do with the Trust. Facebook wants to keep their visitors safe as much as possible
