Default Facebook banned my ad account

Hi Warriors,

I have just received an email from facebook.

------------
Facebook will not tolerate behavior that users may find annoying or abusive, or that violates our Terms of Use or Advertising Guidelines. You have used your account to submit ads that are explicitly prohibited by our ad policies. As a result, your account has been permanently disabled.

We will not be able to reactivate your account, nor will you be able to recover any content within the account. You will also not be permitted to create a new account to restart your Facebook advertising. This decision is final.

Thank you for your understanding,

The Facebook Ads Team

-------------------

I just created a fan page and used facebook ad to promote it.I just used a phrase that learnt from a WSO.In my fan page i havent use any affiliate link just opt-in page.

What could be wrong? And how to get my account back?

Thanks.

CondorX,

Join the crowd. My account also got banned with the same exact message. It seems there are some certain niches they "hate with a passion", and one of them is the dog niche. Apparently that niche is getting "hammered" with spammers.

It is too bad, because there are lots of great offers to promote around dogs.

That really sucks! Sorry to hear that, especially since they approved your ad first..Facebook can be a little hypocritical..I've had less severe issues when they try to get you to add new friends. I've started adding several people I know, maybe through a mutual friend or something, then gotten messages that tell me my account is suspended for two days..It's like WTF!

Anyhow, if it were me and considering how valuable my following is to me on Facebook. I would spend all day tomorrow trying to call, write and plead to try and get your account back, asking for an explanation in the process. Just hope they didn't permanently delete it.

Let us know how it goes, good luck!

By the way, I am about to begin promoting CPA offers with Facebook. It seems as though it would be a good strategy to create a second profile to do business under to avoid this problem. Think this will work?

You guys are scaring me about Facebook. About to unleash my very first CPA campaign and it will be on Facebook. I would hate to have spent all of this time learning CPA and everything that goes along with it, only to be banned because CPA is losing favor with Facebook.

They don't ban people for no reason. If you're doing something you think might piss them off, don't do it. There's 3 sides to every story, the affiliate, facebook and the truth. (Saw that on Jersey Shore so it must be true.)

No, this is not a good idea. Just use your original account and do everything normally. Your friends are not connected to your Facebook ads anyway.

Yep. PPC-Coach has it right. This sounds like another "I broke TOS because I didn't read them now it's their fault for banning me" thread.

Folks, Facebook is a business. Google is a business. Businesses are out to make money. They don't randomly go around banning people "because they feel like it".

You broke TOS.

This is not true at all. It happened to me as well as my ad was APPROVED for nearly 3 months. Then out of the blue I got the same message. Facebook Sucks when it comes to advertising. You can't even split test properly. All the IM gurus know it...

Not true! Sounds like Facebook doesn't like when people finally figure out how to beat the system. My ad was approved for nearly 3 months, got my PPC down to $0.10 per click then out of no where they banned my account with the same bull**** message. I READ ALL THE TOS and didn't find one guideline that I breached. Besides, Facebook sucks for split testing anyways. It's non-existent and you wonder why? Yup, that's right because they have a business to run and they're taking advantage of people who don't have a clue about paid advertising. Who the hell would advertise on any network if you couldn't even split test. That's insane!

Just got banned last week. We had spent millions with them. We had worked with a team. We had even established credit with them. No warning. No fix this. No explanation. Banned for life. The team came back and said the decision was final. Sheer arrogance. We'll stick with our better traffic at Google and Bing.

Facebook does NOT support CPA offers, period. They do not support CPA affiliate companies, and they have a one-strike out rule on those accounts.

I've written about this in several publications, Facebook does NOT support CPA campaigns anymore, fired their entire affiliate team and has a very nasty attitude about the entire industry.

He is correct, I have spoken to people at Facebook. They do not want to support the affiliate industry and actively delete accounts now that are affiliate related

I think that these are the reasons from the terms which make most CPA offers fail and accounts get banned

Quote:
Accuracy
Ads must clearly represent the company, product, service, or brand that is being advertised and must not contain false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive claims or suggest false relevancy to generic offers. Products and services promoted in the ad copy must be clearly represented on the landing page, and the destination site may not offer or link to any prohibited product or service.

Destination Sites
Ads must lead to a functioning landing page that does not interfere with a user's ability to navigate away from the page.

I've been banned too. Added new credit card, because old expired. And guess what - Facebook system detected fraud. I filled appeal form and received answer that system detected fraud = your account banned for life, but i contacted them again, after good month, and security team reinstate my account and now working pretty good, but limit from 2k$ decreased to $500... and can't increase this limit for now.

I have a fanpage in the dog niche and I was promoting cpa offer with no problems.
I stopped promoting the ad on their ad platform because it was just breaking even and I wanted to try promoting some other offers using direct linking. By the way I set this up following a wso (might be the same one). Now I'm afraid to do anything.

My CPA ads are getting rejected by Facebook. I know they do no allow direct linking to Peerfly, so I tried putting the landing page in an iframe on my website, but that didn't work either.
Anyway, I don't want to risk my Facebook account getting banned, so I'm going to ditch Facebook for CPA advertising.

Facebook is just at that point where they're worth so much money they just couldn't give a rat's ass about customer service. They know if you leave there will be someone else to take your place. They just seem to ban with no rhyme or reason and don't even enforce their rules then at the drop of a hat crack down like nazi Germany. It's just insane and I know a lot of people are getting real good and damn sick of it. They need to get their **** in order.

Facebook is just playing to dominant nowadays. It just disapprove almost
every ad I put up, what pisses me a bit off is that my ads got approved
at first and later disapproved.

But that's how it goes when you are too big to bother.

We just need to adapt to it and move on and leave with it.
Let some of your relative create new account and start over again, but this
time stay away from dog niches.

I have also find out that they don't like borders around images
anymore.

But that's how it goes when you are too big to bother.

We just need to adapt to it and move on and leave with it.

It depends on your niche and surprisingly depends on your approval history. A lot of people use borders and even arrows to images without problems, the disapproval is mostly related to your offer.

However, you can try to submit them multiple times, usually what get passed harder has a higher CTR.

Cut it by HALF with CrazyCTR image gathering feature >>

facebook has that attitude in general, we have to roll with the punches and find a way to make our campaigns work.

I know that using a photo that might have a copyright infringement in your ad or on your page is a quick way to get chopped down too.

Super Theme!

The above-all of sappy persons ordinarily buy custom essay today and especially trace diligently submitted and directly wholly custom university projects in an overall minor while ofttimes!

It depends. Many direct linking ads are disapproved. When I say many, i know that from my experience in first days with my Facebook ads account. But when they started trusted me, all my ads are approved ( under advertising guidelines. ) I really not recommend you to do simple direct linking.(Because its hard, not like in adwords, but really hard FOR NEW ACCOUNTS. )Simple solution is - iFrame your offer

Good luck

Haven't you asked them the exact reason for the ban?

Amen, bro. Just got my account banned and I KNOW I didn't violate their TOS or whatever BS their spouting. You know how I know? Didn't even have any ads running! What a bunch of Nazis. It sure would be nice to get a straight answer out of them when you get an ad disapproved. The only way to decipher their crap is to continue to resubmit ads changing one variable at a time.

What bothers me so much about Facebook, and Google too, is not so much that they bann people. It's they do it without any explanation, and the person does not clearly violate the TOS, or the TOS is so vague so it may have been violated by mistake. There is no customer support, and only a half hearted attempt at communicating.

I think its ironic that we live in the "communication age", with all of the communication and social media platforms at our disposal, but for some reason, possibly the anonymity of the internet, communication from online businesses to customers is awful.

I don't care how big a business gets, or how insignificant a customer's money may be. You still have to give good customer service, It's a moral obligation.
