Default How can I fix this (or get the network to fix it) ?

I love the network, but I just noticed that I am missing out on a LOT of money here.. and so are they.

Apparently, if someone clicks a banner and the offer isn't available for them, it automatically redirects them to this:

I blocked out the offer # and name, but for the offer to convert the following is required:

3 page sale + 40 dollar credit card charge.

LOL seriously???

That will never convert. Especially not to random, non-targeted visitors since it's just a redirect. I know this, because I am not promoting this offer anywhere.

And obviously I'm correct.. lol the network and myself could be making a lot more money if this could somehow redirect to a better offer than this. Preferably one with a simple task for the pixel to fire, and something that is relevant to the original banner. Like something based on which advert they clicked in the first place.

Is there something I could do to fix it, or would I have to call the network and hope they could do something about it? lol

Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming this is Maxbounty and I am also having the same problem. I don't really mind it, as the redirect offer actually converts decently, but it is an irrelevant offer. It would be nice if it were to redirect to a more relevant offer. It's probably best to contact the network.

There are really 2 different approaches.. you could a - approach the network and ask them to change it (chances are they wont)..

Or you could add your own geo-redirect script to send people from another country to another offer..

I'm Living MY DREAM Thanks to AFF PLAYBOOK! You Can Too!

MaxBounty does set IP redirects to the most appropriate campaign on foreign clicks... when available. Most of the bigger common country redirects (UK, Canada, AU, etc) are covered with excellent lead gen offers. Not every country is covered though, especially those who traditionally don't use the modern English alphabet.

If we don't have a solid lead gen offer for a country, we default the traffic to a campaign which accepts ALL traffic. That would explain the low conversion. If you're seeing a ton of redirect traffic to the catch-all redirect campaign, you might want to eyeball your traffic sources.

Precisely the reason you are promoting the WRONG products. Even if it converts, you will be at a huge loss. Try this:

I get up to $90 bucks for a 1 page form submit WITHOUT a credit card, just name, address and phone number. Insurance quotes, loan quotes, etc is where the REAL money is at and what I recommend ANYONE to do in CPA.

Any questions just hit me up,
Nick

Thanks JP! And yeah, I get traffic from all over the place. Here is a current screen shot of my visitor map:

And yes, this redirect has more clicks than any other offer I'm promoting. We could both be making a lot more money than we are now!

Most of my traffic comes from organic search, then it also comes from relevant blogs, yahoo answers, hubpages, etc.

But since I get traffic from all over the world, how could I go about geo-redirecting them to a more "niche-targeted" offer?

And thanks Nick, I see what you're saying but I'm not promoting that offer. It's a default redirect when someone clicks a banner that their country can't access.

My site is more towards the adult niche, (Chat Roulette/Omegle, if you've ever heard of those kind of sites) so I use the dating banners. Converts like a charm when the visitor actually makes it to the offer that they clicked on.

But when someone clicks on a dating banner and they are redirected to an offer asking for a 3 page submit + 40 dollar charge, lol yeah.. you can see the problem

Taking a peek at your affiliate account, I see that you're sending significantly more traffic to the various international redirects than to the actual campaign you’re advertising. We already send traffic from the more lucrative redirect countries to campaigns specific to their region, but in your case, there’s a large number of surfers from regions without a campaign match. Typically these are countries without many CPA campaigns or those with payouts so low, it’s just not worth the effort. You can't earn from every surfer, but you'd benefit by implementing a third-party solution so you can set your own IP redirects. Even better, a third-party solution to only show country targeted ads to specific surfers. So if you're advertising a campaign which only accepts American traffic, only show the ad to American surfers.

Based on that traffic map though, you'll be hard pressed to find many high converting offers for places like India and Pakistan and many others. This is just a suggestion, but if you can’t find good campaigns for certain countries, you might want to redirect those surfers to a page filled with textual content about the theme of the ad they were clicking on (say DATING) and coat the page with Google ads.
