Default First "real" attempt at CPA

so i know what i want to do but not necissarily how to go about it?

I want to pick a certain offer like an email submit for an ipad or kindle

THEN:

I'm going to leave fliers everywhere in my city, all kinds of places.

My question is.

I know I cant put the gigantic affiliate URL given to me on a flier and expect people to type it in. So I'll create a domain such as alabamaoffers.com and have them go to that, and THEN redirect to the email submit.

But how do i do this? i'd like them to stay on my site and/or use the email they submit for my building my list. but i'm not sure how to go about this?

I am signed up for CPALead, adscendmedia, and clickbank at the moment.

can anyone shed some light on this?

I've heard of a few people having success using that offline method of cpa marketing.

Anyway, here's how I would do it if I were you.

I would send people to your own domain (like you stated earlier) and capture their email address using your own squeeze page. Just capture their email address and use a single opt-in. Then I would send them to a page that has a link to the cpa offer. Make sure you mask this offer with something link Pretty Link. Then they will be sent to the offer.

I also recommend giving them the cpa offer in the first email you send them, as soon as they sign up. You probably want to send them 1-2 offers a month for this type of list.

After you have figured out how much traffic your flyers are bringing in, I would hire college students to pass out flyers for you. This way you can focus on the monetization.

You can capture leads on your landing page and make the Thank you page to the offer page. So the visitors after opting-in to your list they go directly to the offer landing page.

If you gonna do this, then make sure you pick offers that pay you AT LEAST $40-50 per lead, as in insurance, debt management, loans.

Otherwise you wont be able to pay for the labour and printing of these flyers. However, NOTHING comes even close to PPC+Landing Page in the finance market. I would stick to that as you can do it nationwide and get a lot more volume this way. Its also cheaper and makes you more money.

Any questions just let me know

Hi Nick,

what you said is exactly what i am worried about. Most of the offers that convert after just a Pin or zip submit dont pay , say , more that a dollar and a half per action. I have some free credits left on PPC networks but I know i will end up spending more than what i expect myself to earn because conversions are terrible even after extensive keyword research.
All i want to learn is ,apart from other methods, where do i use these leftover credits without going into a loss? Thanks

I did flyer marketing when I was starting for mid range payouts and I made a decent amount of money (for me at the time). The trick is to have the same methodical approach to testing offline as you would an online campaign.

As for redirecting, sure you can build a squeeze page and automatically send them to the offer upon entering their info. Just test it out because some offline campaigns are better to do a straight up front conversion and that's it. Only testing will tell

Believe it or not, although it is a good way to get people to see the offer, flyers take a lot of time and money. Paper is by no means cheap, and can cost quite a bit for an initial investment. Just like you would in PPC, to efficiently see if you're profiting you have to analyze how many sheets of paper you place out and how many leads you get based on that amount to come up with some sort of conversion rate. That's the only way to keep track of your campaign and see if it is indeed working for you.

Also, placing flyers does take a while. If it takes you 10 seconds to place a flyer on every car, that means its one minute to get 6 'impressions'. I can tell you for the $0.50 you spent on the paper to place those 6 flyers, you could get 100x that in impressions on an online traffic source. Just some food for thought.

Tell me about it!! I used to spend hours and hours and hours pounding the pavement and flyering cars and apartment complexes. It was miserable, but when I was new it helped me earn those first dollars to keep me motivated and eventually working on bigger and better things.

So I don't regret it but it was a tremendous amount of effort.

This would be best strategy how ever if you don`t want to capture leads go in your hosting control panel and click on manage redirects and redirect domain to offer url
