Default ISSUE: ID Verification of CPA Network.

Dear All Warrior,
Recently, I read a lot of issues about ID verification for CPA networks such as Peerfly.

Some of the threads I read are:
So, is it really safe to submit our Government ID to CPA networks? Why CPA networks ask for Government ID?

Some of my thoughts to those people who are afraid to submit government Id to CPA networks are as listed below:
1. Money laundering
This is serious issue. So, when I see websites that asked for government ID. Normally, I will be very careful about it.

2. Illegal issue such as credit cards and loans application online
When we submitted our gevernment ID, could it be possible for other people to use it to apply loans and credit cards online? You can check that there are hundreds of websites for people to apply loans and credit cards online.

3. Re-create our ID for illegal stuff.
This is also very dangerous. You might not know what happen to your Id after submit.

I know that somehow, people can fake your identity without signature or thumb print to get approval for loans and credit cards as seen in movies.

So, some last questions I would like to ask:
  • Where is CPA networks companies such as Peerfly located?
  • Could anyone find a picture of their company in Google? (I could not find a picture of their company but I could find for CPALead.com)

Personally, I feel that there is a need to protect ourselves online. We are all here to make money but don't take too high a risk to do so.

If a CPA network company is very good, they can easily identify scammers/false identity by creating algorithm to detect and delete accounts. If they request for government ID, does that mean that they are getting your ID to protect themselves in terms of any law related issues?

Maybe it is something we have to think about carefully.

Networks like peerfly are trustable , for every online business privacy of clients data is most precious thing , and so it is for peerfly !!! if you don`t trust a network for your identity, How can they trust you that they are paying to a legit person ?? they are legit and 100% legal

Explain me how you can do that. That algo can earn millions of $$$$.

They ask government id so that you cant cheat by ANY MEANS. Even paypal asks for it when they need it. Its just an extra level of verification. But you are free not to apply in it if you feel uncomfortable, unless you are really itching to get into network by any means

Most well known CPA networks are located in US or Canada. IMHO, PeerFly is a trustworthy network, don't worry about their reputation

And what will you reply if CPA network comes to know about it There are public sites to duly verify your info. Photoshop is not reply to everything.

If you want to scam, you will scam no matter what restriction company places. But how long will you keep that doing, that's the question.

Hi guys,
Sorry to raise this issue. This is because I read a lot about ID verification stuff and some ideas pop up in my mind and I write is out to share with all.

I hope this thread can become guidelines for future used. Next time, when new members want to join CPA networks, they at least know and can find a source to learn more about Id verification.

Dear harrisunderwork,
Algorithm to detect scammers can be done by detecting suspicious account activity, traffic source and PayPal verification. They can detect if the PayPal account is verified, if it is verified, then it should be a real person but if the person is doing suspicious activity with the account , they can banned their account. Just my idea, maybe it is too simple.

PeerFly's office is located in Alachua, Florida. You can find our address at the bottom of every page on PeerFly.com and also on our Contact page.

I do not believe we have a picture of our office up on our site yet (good idea for our contact page), but if you look through our blog you'll find several posts with pictures of our team at the different trade shows we've gone to. I also posted a picture of my office on my blog when I was setting it up. Of course, you could Google Map our address too.

Anyway, we are a trustworthy company (not a scam) and we have the ID verification in place to help deter fraudsters from joining our network. This requirement has helped keep the quality of our traffic up and that leads to happier advertisers and higher payouts for our publishers

First, I dont do that. So I wouldnt have that issue.

Second, a CPA network will most likely never ever find out the chances are too small. Even if they do the most they will do is kick you out. And if you arent in the same country thats the most that can legally happen anyways (depending on the country)

Giving your ID to CPA network you show them that you are a real person, and that scales down a possibility that you can scam them

Exactly, scammers aren't going to identify themselves legally to anyone. They hide and try to rip off networks and merchants from afar. That's why some networks demand this.

The networks also want to protect themselves, fraud has become a serious issue and it has been growing more and more, unfortunately due to this, the legit people have to suffer..

from the other side, you have to be 100% percent sure of CPA Company.
In other case someone can take your ID and use it in some inproper way

Of course, I would definitely check for payment proofs and reviews on Affiliate Paying first.

Hi LukePeerfly,
Thanks for the reply. Your reply give us more confidence. Thanks a lot.
Maybe you should consider adding a picture of PeerFly company in the contact page.

By the way LukePeerFly, I raise this issue not to complain that PeerFly needs ID verification, I hope you understand. I started this thread to share to all warriors or all people who are trying to make money online, before making money online, we all have to make sure whether a company is legit or not. Only after confirming that a company is legit, then we should join them.

The ideas I shared in this thread should be taken into account before joining any make money online programs.

Good luck everyone!!!
