If you use the hosted Tracking202.com service...

After many years of providing affiliates with free hosted tracking software, it all comes to an end tonight.

I wanted to send you a quick reminder about our hosted tracking202 service which will be shut down sometime after midnight tonight.

Many of you have already transitioned your campaigns to your own servers hosting Prosper202 1.7. but I wanted to give a final reminder to anyone who had been procrastinating.

You can use any web host that you want that offers the following specifications:

PHP 5.0 or higher
MySQL 4.0 or higher
Apache or Litespeed

They just recommend Beyond Hosting.

RIP T202..

Although I have always preferred the self-hosted version.. (more control and less possibility for others to see what your doing)

I just dropped my vps and tried to setup prosper on a shared hosting of hostmonster.com but it won't work. Can I use prosper202 on a window vps ?

Yes, I received internal server 500 error. I also have a window vps, can I run tracking202 on it ?

Check out Risingnet VPS. They are good and stable and have a lot of alternatives.

At this point I think Bevo is the only main free hosted platform for affiliates. So yeah, it's something to look into if you don't want to pay or can't afford to pay for a tracking service right now.
