|  Wolf Storm Media - save to send SSN to?
I just applied to wolf storm media and their asking me to e-mail them my social security number.. is it save to give them this?

Yes, I know the owner Jeremiah personally, they typically need it for tax purposes they have to report the money you make, good company as well.

Yeah, I went ahead and gave it to them. The only reason I won't provide it when signing up is some publishers dont use SSL security which makes you nervous when the page isent secure(the lock that appears on the address bar) so I prefer to talk to them over the phone and give it to them.

It is just required for tax purposes.It is completely safe.

It's never "safe" to send a SS# in, but the best way is to fax (not email it). Honestly, despite the claims there is no much people can do with SS#'s anymore. If you are really concerned, you can lock your SS# through fraud alerts so no one can get credit with it...
