I spent 500$ and received 200$ when tested a campaign, just wonder it's simple or not. So how much money do you usually spend for test a new campaign ?

Depends on your traffic source and the payout of the offer. I usually test with 3x the payout of the offer. So if the offer payout is $10 I will test it with $30. Sometimes even more if the offer is worthy to go after.

Remember, it takes money to make money ... and generally speaking, early on in a campaign you will lose money. Long-run, once tweaked, you will get a cash-cow on autopilot. Any questions just let me know, Nick | |

For a media-buy (buying banner ads) you should get at least half a million impressions to test the quality of traffic from this or that traffic source.

It depends on many factors such as offer, traffic source, CPC, etc... So, your goal needs to be always to collect enough data to be able to determine if the campaign has the potential to become profitable or not. Consider all the elements you can test and optimize, and if you get to a point where it seems not to be possible to take the campaign to a profitable level, even after an optimization process, then you move on.
