Default Rub-a-dub-dub, am I in the scrub tub?

Two days ago I just hit my first profitable campaign. I only got three leads the first day because I started testing with a small budget. I bumped it up yesterday and pulled in 18. Today I did some optimization and dropped some obvious losers from my targets, and I'm on track to double yesterday's results.

Now I just checked the stats for that campaign, and my leads from the first day disappeared, along with my commissions. From what I understand of scrubbing, advertisers will typically shave down the conversions that you continue bringing in, but do they also do it retroactively?

Or do you think there might be something else going on here?

There can be many reasons of that. There could be some problems with statistisc for this moment, and you have to check them later, or thay can be just "shaved" as you written.

Could it just be a bad day for conversions (yes that happens)

Yes, it is with email submits.

I was just a little worried when I saw my conversions disappear.

Interestingly, the conversion numbers at my CPA network line up with the numbers at my traffic source, but they still show them happening on different days.

I think with this campaign being my first winner, I'm prone to reading too much into everythin

welcome to the world of simple submits!!! Always plan on a set percentage of your conversions disappearing...that's why payout isn't the most important variable in email submit success...it's conversion rate and the sticking rate of your conversions
